Benny hauled off, standing ovation

France at the Euros could be Senegal at the ACoN over again. Really hope not.
-
What's wrong with Jonas? Whoops, forgot about him I'm guilty of sometimes underrating the defensive shift he puts in but I wouldn't mind a more natural option to CM
-
Quality player. Can ping good crosses in and seems like a good option on set pieces as well, and he'll certainly slot in the LCM / Ba role if we do go 4-3-3 Cabaye Tioté Barnetta Ben Arfa Cissé Ba or Cabaye Tioté New CM Ben Arfa Cissé Barnetta either way, please make it happen.

Mackems got adidas. Gonna be a good adidas v puma derby next season then. http://www.football-shirts.co.uk/fans/sunderland-announce-deal-with-adidas_15806

I've always used the clubs colours as a bit of a metaphor for the clubs roller coaster traits. Ultimate low to high and, sadly, back. That's how this club seems to flow, so even in the ultimate low of relegation I knew from this mental clubs standards that we'd somehow make Europe again. From a team of w****** who could give a f*** we somehow built a team that any Newcastle supporter could be proud of. That complete conversion both on and off the pitch is the biggest achievement imo, and this season and the European football that goes with it is just fully deserved. Now, back to that metaphor, I hope we don't follow the "black and white striped" tradition and head to another low after such a lofty achievement. That would be my wish for not only next season but for the succeeding seasons. If we manage to accomplish this task of breaking the trend of downfalls, then it is without question that we could call ourselves a truly great club again. Cheers to nufc I and hope for a better next season.

 Same no of years since their last title innit?

Harper Simpson Williamson Coloccini Enrique Raylor Guthrie Barton Jonas Ameobi Lovenkrands

NOOOOOLLLLAAAANN (Bye bye carroll at top scorer )
-
We lack the and the Carroll moving to defense for the last few mins tactic.
-
Never wear that blue strip again.
-
I think we could have won had Barton and Nolan been in, but anyways brilliant stuff. Krul 7 Simpson 7 Taylor 7.5 Campbell 7.5 Enrique 8 Routledge 8 Guthrie 6 Tiote 7 Jonas 7 Carroll 7 Ameobi - 4 Ranger - 6.5
-
Great performance from everyone but Shola. Hate it when he busts up our attacks with his poor control. Nevertheless, I'm confident we can get something from this one. Played well so far, wish we had Nolan and Barton though.
-
Am surprisingly confident on this, not on a win or draw, but on a canny showing. Sol coming in may become a blessing. Tiote's back as well. Carroll is still a beast, top scorer I believe. And they have midweek, plus 2 losses behind them.

http://www.readytogo.net/smb/forumdisplay.php?f=86 Look at all those 5-1s.
-
Carroll - Everyone else -
-
Krul R Taylor, Colo, kadar, Fergie Smith, Guthrie, Routledge, Loven Ranger with Tiote, Xisco, and Vuckic the subs to enter
-
Krul Simpson Campbell Coloccini Enrique R Taylor Barton Tiote Jonas Ameobi Carroll Subs Söderberg, Williamson, Perch, Smith, Nolan, Løvenkrands, Routledge Result: It depends on whether our decent away form continues. Anyways, I predict us being on either the good or bad end of a 2-1 scoreline, depending on whether that form is with us.

Newcastle 0-2 Blackpool Newcastle 1-2 Stoke Newcastle 2-2 Wigan Newcastle 3-2 Sunderland
-
At least the losing rot is over... Nolan, and Hughton. That's the true captain.
-
I wish we'd also shut it in having a go at former players or mackems...It just make things worse. (Jones, Zog, and co.)

Newcastle United v Wigan Pre-Match Thread - 16/10/10, 3.00 PM
Dyeyzzon replied to The Prophet's topic in Football
It would be basically the same team as Man City except Taylor or Routledge replacing Ben Arfa, and maybe Carroll on for Ameobi. But I think it should be Krul Perch Williamson Coloccini Enrique Taylor Barton Tiote Jonas Loven/Ameobi Carroll If Wigan show their bad side, 3-0. If they show up, we will win by one goal in a hard-fought match. (1-0, 2-1)
