  1. We do know how and why. We've won enough games to get enough points to be in 6th. We also do have a plan and tactics. A high press, high turnover style, and if you look at the stats we're top or nearly top for winning possession in the final third and for high turnovers. We've been incredibly wasteful when we have won the ball though, mostly down to Rashford who has consistently given the ball away and then refused to track back which has then put us under pressure. That pressure has come against a makeshift back five for most of the season. We've been missing Wan-Bissaka, Varane, Martinez and Shaw for months of this season alone, and even the back ups (Malacia) and back ups back ups (Reguilon) have spent time on the injury table. Add into this a keeper who didn't settle and made a bundle of errors and you have a very shaky defence letting in a lot of goals. Add into this further injuries to Casemiro and Amrabat and you can see why we've struggled. Teams have had the chance to put us out of top four contention, but we're within three points and starting to get players back. Performances are improving and we're becoming more clinical. We're very much in the race now, especially if we go out of Europe next week.
  2. I think you're writing us, Spurs and yourselves off very quickly for 4th place. Especially given the injuries to all sides. All three will be miles stronger in the new year.
  3. Although, all jokes aside, I can't remember the last time City were made to look so ordinary. Rodri and De Bruyne are two pretty significant misses for them, funny enough.
  4. Looked good for them on Wednesday aye. They've still no chance of top four
  5. They've bad injuries as well to be fair.

Aye 100%. Why wouldn't he be? Also not a loaded question. The only thing that was annoying the fans was the starting eleven when he was making decisions like Rashford on the right. Still don't understand the logic behind it now. The Varane situation is annoying too but we don't know what has happened. If Varane has challenged Ten Hag's authority then we'll back the manager there as well. We've backed him with Ronaldo and Sancho. Martial and Rashford could be next and we'll also back him again. You'll notice all of those players (with the exception of Varane) are/were on huge wages but don't run or press for the team. You don't give up on a manager because of a few poor months after he's given you a third place finish and a trophy. I think he could speak better in the press as a small criticism. Coming out with things like "we scored a goal but it was offside so we could have had a draw" is pretty embarassing, but it could just be a language barrier. He does after all, barely speak English.

    I think Ten Hag does.
  8. Last night was the first time we looked good to be fair. We were shit against Everton, just clinical. We looked really good last night though. Been saying all season that dropping Rashford will make all the difference. Our front four will pick itself now unless someone picks up a knock. But aye. To be above Newcastle despite being in reverse gear is a miracle. If the performances like last night can continue we will go on a good run same as last season. Just a shame we have Bayern and Liverpool next week.

We were willing to sell him in the summer.
  10. Same. Should have won 6-1 last night. Highest xG of any team this season except Chelsea vs. Spurs when it was 11 against 9.
  11. Aye, but that's why EtH likes to play Shaw as a centre back, because he's so comfortable on the ball. Varane and Martinez have no problem receiving it and playing out. We lose so much not having those two. Onana looked a lot more comfortable last night.
  12. Just checked. You had two keepers on the bench? Two? Is that all? We had three against Bayern. But that's OK because we spent £89m on Pogba 7 years ago.
  13. Best performance by a mile. Desire all over the pitch. Playing for the shirt and the manager.
  14. Strange to comment this after last nights performance.
  15. Man United and Villa haven't had any injuries at all this season apparently.
  16. Still very open at the back but I'm hoping Varane and Ten Hag can sort it out and we can have our first choice defence and Casemiro back for the second half the season. We're only three off top four and have time to turn this around.
  17. Should have been a cricket score tonight. Amazing what happens when it's 11 vs. 11 and not 11 vs. 10 and Rashford. He may hope for some injuries or he's never getting that LW position back.
  18. I respect Newcastle. There's a big difference.
  19. Still a Man United fan mate. For some of us, changing teams is unfathomable.
  20. Yes, and who's feeding Lingard. People starting to put pieces together finally.
  21. It's semi inside info that there were a group of English players leaking info to the press, more specifically to Luckhurst and Whitwell. That group was Maguire, Henderson, Lingard and Rashford. Two of them aren't there anymore and the leaks are still happening. I don't think it's Maguire.
