  1. All members of the supporters trust have now been contacted and asked for their opinion for it to be sent to senior management. I've basically said what I've said on here. Be interesting to see what the response is.
  2. We've bid for Gravenberch. View to buy but initially a loan offer.
  3. They're meant to be interested in Amrabat as well.
  4. Probably naive of me but I think a club should always put fans first. For our female supporters what do they do now if Greenwood scores? It's a statistical certainty that there will be victims of domestic violence in the ground every week and they have to watch this guy live his best life out on the pitch again. Ten Hag was building a dressing room full of strong characters. There's a togetherness with the team at the minute. I think Greenwood returning actually hurts us. This is going to make so many of our fans uncomfortable. Then again football fans are fickle and it could all be forgotten about in a year or two. Maybe the upcoming statements and explanations from the club will change things, but every fan I've spoken to bar one doesn't want him to return, myself included.
  5. Generational talent and the expectation was that he'd go on to be one of our greatest ever. The CIES algorithm at one point had him as the most valuable player in the world. There's a reason why they want to bring him back. If this was a Maguire or a Fred he'd have been kicked to the kerb long ago.
  6. I have always thought that role play would be the defence. There's a video of Greenwood and the complainant online in a car suggesting they're into role play. Now there's rumours being put out that the audio was edited, and that her phone was hacked etc. It's just too messy. We should have let him go. It makes a hell of a lot of people very uncomfortable.
  7. She didn't drop the charges, the CPS did due to the withdrawal of key witnesses and new evidence coming to light. We'll never know what the new evidence was, but they decided there was no realistic chance of conviction so dropped the case. I feel like once that happened, this was always going to be the outcome. The official statement said a decision hasn't been made, but good sources said it was made weeks ago and that he would stay. The language used in that statement about him being a young man who's been with the club since the age of 7 etc. is a clear rehabilitation tactic. We've signed our new golden boy striker and have done well without Greenwood for the last 18 months. I genuinely don't see what we can stand to gain from this. A good player? So what? Good players come and go all the time. It's so poor. The club has no balls. It's a shadow of what it was.
  8. I'm gutted he's staying.
  9. He doesn't get booed in a game. His name was cheered when it was read out last night. The boos were at a friendly in Ireland where they're all little plastic idiots. To be fair to them the club did the fans rotten charging €60 a ticket and playing a reserve side.
  10. Yep. Info was true at the time. Decision has only been made in the last hour.
  11. Aye. I don't know the exact fee but we were offering him a payoff already. He wanted more.
  12. I think this kills his career to be honest. He would have been perfectly suited to West Ham and could have got back to his best, which is a good Premier League defender. Instead he's demanded a huge payoff, and when he hasn't got it he's decided he'd rather be a fifth choice centre back and sit on the bench. We preferred our left back in central defence instead of him ffs.
  13. Maguire wanting £7m payoff to leave. Rot on the bench now my guy.
  14. Can't believe you're getting to meet Kanji in person. I'd probably have to do the waistband trick. Guy is a heartthrob.

I mean, if we've paid them off, they could have given that handball against Semedo. Useless.

Where do the officials go at St. James's Park? Do you not have hospitality?
  17. What errors did he make?

We've never even had an apology. Even the one on De Gea which was worse than Onana's. I don't think anything was said.
  19. I just enjoy making people who shout corruption look silly.
  20. I've had these in the chamber for months.
  21. I think there's more of a spotlight on those decisions that's for sure. They're usually always televised, so more attention is brought to them.
  22. And this is fine. I'd be the exact same to be honest, but deep down I'd know there's no corruption.
  23. Just five that came into my head at Old Trafford very recently. I can go back further if you like. So many examples for and against for both teams. I could mention Wilson's non penalty against us, but I could mention Burn's clear handball against Chelsea etc. Seem to remember an extremely harsh pen against Spurs for you as well that earned you a draw, but that's maybe a couple of years back. Then of course you have the fact that Newcastle benefitted more from VAR last season than Man United, Chelsea, Arsenal, City and Spurs. But for some reason people don't like that one. For example if there was corruption why did they overturn Trippier's red against City? Why not just have another controversial decision to benefit the "big six" and keep on picking on little old Newcastle? It's because it's all rubbish. There's no corruption. Refs are just shit.
