  1. Maybe he was happy with the away goal, and was content to take the tie back to the impenetrable fortress that is Old Trafford. Like we're playing fucking Barcelona or something. Seriously, we'll probably beat Olympiakos, but what's going to happen if we draw someone like Bayern Munich in the next round of the CL.
  2. We'll turn this result around like IMO, but fuck me what a shite performance. The team is so bad without Rooney and RVP. Honestly think we need five signings. Shaw, Gundogan, Herrera, Cabaye and someone like Reus. Majority of those are extremely unlikely if not impossble, and how much would those five be anyway? Probably about 120m. I'm one of the ones who has more patience for Moyes, but he brought on Fletcher tonight chasing the game when we had good attacking options on the bench. Completely unacceptable. It's almost like he's afraid to attack for fear of conceding.
  3. This is me officially admitting I was wrong about Cleverley. My patience has ran out. If I defend him again shoot me in the fucking cock.
  4. Last year we won those games you mentioned but Liverpool were robbed against us. Against ten men for a large portion and required a penalty IIRC. In the City game we threw away a two goal lead with an abject second half performance. We only won because of a deflected free kick from RVP. The result papers over what happens a lot of the time. Fergie got lucky on both those occasions.
  5. Glad you enjoyed it Colin. Going to get Tapatalk here 'cause it's a fucking nightmare quoting on this piece of shit.
  6. It wasn't by choice. Gill joined the board of the FA and then stepped down from us. Also in response to the question about debt up above, it has gone from 800m to 390m in 7 years. It isn't a concern. It's going to take many years of mediocrity for the club to take a real financial hit.
  7. The worry about finishing outside of CL positions is the ability to attract the very best. Every sane fan would accept not being in Europe as long as the necessary steps are taken to progress the club. A summer like last would be truly terrible. If we finish the season as poorly as we started it and were then flopping about in the market making laughable bids for midfielders without actually getting anybody, then I'd be terrified for next season. Our chief executive worries me. He was clearly out of his depth last summer and isn't fit to lace David Gills boots. He has a lot to prove this year as well. A massive portion of the blame for last year goes to him.
  8. I think we'll get fourth, but it'll go to the last day of the season. I think Rooney will be gone in the summer as well but I really hope not. You high again Parky by the way? Rooney on the slide? He has been absolutely immense this season in both scoring and creating. He has another few years left at the very top but he'll be an effective footballer 'til he dies. 200m is crazy talk but we do need a sizable investment. A central midfielder is imperative. 35m is what it's going to take to get a suitable one. A new winger is required and two of the current crop need shipped out. Young and Nani could bring in just shy of 20m IMO. Zaha needs more gametime as well. Could do with a left back, but I don't want Baines. Too much money for a player with not many prime years left. Another centre back will be needed shortly as well. Vidic only has a couple of years left and I've a feeling Rio will call it a day this year. Evans, Smalling and Jones are all good players, but we could do with another one in there. Everyone knows what we need but it's who can we get that is the main question? I wouldn't be surprised to see Herrera and Fellaini as our starting midfield pair next season, though Herrera won't be coming with no Champions League I'd imagine.
  9. Nah it won't require surgery by the looks of things but he is looking at another couple of weeks out. It'll probably be the Chelsea game before he plays again and I doubt he'll even be fit. If he isn't fit Moyes should not play him. He played Van Persie for the full 90 mins in desperation against Newcastle when he was still struggling and that could have been catastrophic. If your prediction is right, things will be rosy for approximately one week. In a way I'm glad it's Chelsea and not City. If we went to the Etihad in this state it would be a Norwich-esque result. Chelsea don't strike fear into me at all though. Honestly don't think we'll buy this month either. Players are available, but not what we need. I could possibly see another attempt being made for Herrera, but I reckon we'll be waiting until the summer.
  10. Need to get on a PC to vent about the current season. It's coming. I still believe Moyes will turn it around and I'm keeping faith. But almost every fan I know has lost it now. I'm sure that doesn't surprise many of you. We need to beat Swansea and put in a strong performance against Chelsea. Rooney and RVP need to get fit ASAP or we won't make Europe.
  11. Good thing it was only 27.5m pounds.

  14. One of the reasons I'm actually looking forward to going home for a while is normal time kick offs again. They'll be 10am in Canada which isn't so bad. 3 and 4 in the morning is a nightmare.
  15. Quite looking forward to this one. Is it wrong that I'm not? Doing an all-nighter before work for this. I better be happy and tired tomorrow and not angry and tired.

  17. At least I think there's a graph floating about.
  18. Aye there's a graph floating about on the forum somewhere and Redknapp and Fat Sam are among the highest paid in the World.
  19. 32 this Feb. And word is they they are trying to entice him with 65kpw. I thought Martin O'Neill was managing Ireland now?
  20. Love the complete oversight there. Not what I said in the slightest.
  21. He didn't like. He went down holding his face and stayed down. No rolling about, not flopping about. If that's how you're describing that incident I'd like a description of Steven Taylors dive against Villa. Nobody thinks Steven Taylor is a cunt for that except Sunderland and Villa fans probably. It was a goal if he didn't stick his hand out. He tried to save his team and stay on the pitch, but he cheated and is guilty of one of the most over the top displays of diving the league has ever seen.
  22. if it was the other way round, rob lee on solskjaer would you say the same thing ? Of course not, especially given the situation of the title race. That's the only point I wanted to make.
  23. Banned for a season for a professional foul. It's called a professional foul for a reason. Also I remember the Campbell sending off like it was yesterday. I don't think it was deliberate but he clearly caught him. The linesman flagged it by the way and when the ref came over to talk to him you could clearly hear on the tv the linesman say "he seemed to deliberately use his elbow." The linesman got Sol sent off. All Solskjaer done was take an elbow to the face. Zidanes headbutt was not fucking warranted by the way. Of course Materazzi was unsportsmanlike and extremely cuntish with what he said, but Zidanes retaliation is still unsportsmanlike conduct. Fuck knows the reaction on here if he had nutted Rob Lee.
  24. If you type in Zidane is the first result "Zidane headbutt?" Three great players. Solskjaer in second place because Alan Shearer was fucking dearer.
