Given a shirt is like £80 these days it sounds like utter nonsense.
-
Wouldn't say massive W. It's a solid deal for Mbeumo and it's a very good contract we've got him on. What happens from here is irrelevant to the transfer itself. Mount will step up during AFCON. It's his year.
-
Begs the question, was Klopp right?
-
Same wage as what Newcastle handed Anthony Gordon after he scored half the goals Mbeumo did. Crazy really.
-
The £250,000 a week? Aye always was.
-
Verified on Capology as £150,000 a week as well. And we all know Capology is king.
-
Don't worry, it's £250,000 a week if you're from Newcastle.
-
Mbeumo on £150k a week. You love to see it. Can barely get Matt Targett on that wage.

I would genuinely be signing an experienced striker like DCL for free and then investing everything else that we have into a midfielder with legs. I'm sure there's a plan though. Actually heard Ndidi's name mentioned a lot recently. Not sure how to feel about it.

Seems like the plan is indeed to play Fernandes in a midfield two with either Casemiro or Ugarte. Everyone knows that's a weakness, but other areas of the squad needed sorted first. Can see Mbeumo or Cunha playing up top at some point if we don't sign another striker. Amad will play RWB. He's been at his best there. Onana (Bayindir) De Ligt (Mazraoui) Maguire (Heaven) Yoro (Martinez/Shaw) Amad (Dalot) Dorgu (Leon) Fernandes (Mainoo) Casemiro (Ugarte) Cunha (Mount) Mbeumo (Zirkzee) Hojlund (Obi) Still needs a keeper, midfielder and a striker.

Cash would have been lovely. Hopefully he plays class at Barca and we get that next summer. He still has another 3 years on his deal.

One down, four to go.

For once I agree with you KaKa. I think if we make a move it needs to be for an experienced striker and we can allow Hojlund to develop without him having to play every minute of every game even when he's horrifically out of form. I think INEOS are probably scared to spend big money on a 28/29 year old like Mateta though as there's no resale value. At least if it's Sesko and it doesn't work out there's some money to be made back. I assume that's how they're thinking.
-
Would be a great move. Averages a goal a game in the Bundesliga.
-
Confirmed they were having an affair.
-
Sad state of affairs that instead of excitement over the Mbeumo confirmation it's relief. Isak next please.

I'd say your Wissa interest is what got us to cough up the extra few million.
