More false promises Mike. Like you'd hit your target with those shaky ass Rob Boss hands.
-
Oh you took the whole Howe/Isak/Amorim/relegation shtick seriously? It's our year mate.
-
Don't call it a comeback baby, I never left.
-
I'm OK with this viewpoint.
-
Those statistics didn't sit well with you did they.
-
Sorry. tl;dr - Mbeumo is miles better than Elanga, and it's not even remotely close.
-
Nobody said that he did. Someone just made the comparison between the two and stated that the goals and assists per 90 should be the reason why they go for a similar price. I've already got a wager on this season about league finishes. Thought one of these players is going to a Champions League side with the best manager and striker in the league, and the other is going to a relegation threatened side with a fraud for a manager. So it surely wouldn't be fair to try and compare those two would it?

You're just proving my point. Someone shared a graphic showing Elanga has more assists than Palmer/Fernandes etc. As you say, a lot more to it than that. For example: This is just talking about G&A, which are very similar per 90 if you remove penalties (as if penalties don't need scored). But as you say @Erikse, it's deeper than that. Mbeumo's pass completion is better than Elanga He has over double the amount of passes into the penalty area than Elanga He has over double the amount of progressive passes than Elanga He has more progressive carries than Elanga and nearly double the amount of carries as Elanga He has a 46% take on success compared to 30% for Elanga He has over double the amount of passes into the final third than Elanga He has more shot creating actions than Elanga He has over 2x the amount of tackles as Elanga and nearly 2x the amount of tackles won He has nearly triple the success rate of tackles on attacking players than Elanga He has 2x as many blocks as Elanga He has 2x the amount of interceptions as Elanga He has nearly double the amount of ball recoveries as Elanga Simply put, he's miles better than Elanga, and people are using non-penalty G&A stats per 90 to try and compare the two, when Mbeumo blows him away in almost every other statistic. That's not to say Eddie Howe can't turn him into a monster, but at this moment time he's simply an essential cog in a counter-attacking side.

Oasis dedicated Live Forever to him as well. Seeing videos of Neves and Cancelo tonight has broken me. They were breaking their heart during the silence.
-
We haven't been paying Antony's wages and Hojlund has more G&A in his career than Elanga and is a year younger. But if it's not from Statman Dave maybe that doesn't count?
-
Big downgrade on Murphy.
-
Good for us. Go on Rashy like. Your Barca dream coming true.
-
We were buzzing with £15m for Elanga.
-
Bit worried if Villa get him. Means you might actually spend the £60m on someone who's worth it.
-
Might be best for both parties to wait then. We can just struggle through another season with Dalot at RWB.
-
Not sure. Ornstein saying if he's to leave Brentford he wants us and only us. I know they have a year option but they're running the risk of losing him for a lot less next summer. If we do go higher I hope it's just performance add ons or else I'd want us to be patient and wait.
-
Ornstein saying £55m+£7.5m still below Brentford's valuation. Almost at walk away territory IMO.
-
Garnacho available for £50m. More G&A than Elanga last season and 3 years younger. He's a great lad too. Top professional.
-
Sounds like you wanted 200 dinner ladies to lose their job over Greenwood's mistake. Shocking behaviour.
-
In a world that doesn't make sense, sure.
-
It's undisclosed, but there's no way it's 50%. That's what we put in for Greenwood and he was the crown jewel that we had to sell for a cut price.
