Dummett is a senior player. We were having to dip into our academy. Put it this way. If we had Paul Dummett this season, he'd have played more games for us than he did for you. Infact, he'd have likely played 2 or 3 times as many. That will tell you all you need to know.

You can include the ÂŁ120m worth of signings (two of which have been injured all year) that Ten Hag brought on of course. As long as you include the ÂŁ60m worth you brought on against Brentford.
-
Seriously? We had 17 different centre back partnerships this season, and 33 different back four parnerships. We were on our 7th choice centre back. We've had to play Casemiro and Jonny Evans as a centre back partnership to end the season. Luke Shaw only available a handful of games, his backup injured the entire year. Not a single minute. Varane and Martinez played together 5 times this season. Your defensive injuries weren't even remotely close to ours. Completely incomparable. I'm just saying what happened. I'm not a fan of forcing everyone back into offices after all this time.

No, that's literally what is happening. I'm not saying I agree with it, but that is literally black and white fact of what is happening.

Oh, the one billion quid argument. People still including Pogba's fees when trying to argue their way out of corners. Our starting lineup against City on Saturday cost less than your starting lineup against Brentford. But whatever floats your boat.

He's honouring their end of year bonus if they voluntarily resign. It's all off the back of the working from home arrangements. If it doesn't suit, you can leave, and will be paid your bonus anyway.

ÂŁ40m+ on a 22 year old Joelinton. Mike Splashley.

Incorrect. We finished level on points with you, and had an unprecedented injury crisis ourselves, and defensive injuries are far more difficult to deal with. We going to act like we weren't playing defensive midfielders at centre back and left back? Despite that, we enter next season as FA Cup champions and have European football. So why would Ten Hag get the boot? He deserves another crack for winning us two trophies in two years. After 10 games if the team is relatively healthy and results are poor, then a decision can be made. In 10 years time people won't talk about finishing 3rd or 6th or 8th in the table. They'll remember the trophies though.

What about your post suggests he's doing things on the cheap? It just says players under 25 and no "galacticos." Players under 25 aren't cheap.

State of that tweet ffs.

Some insane takes IMO. Won the league, 97 points, +48 goal difference. Best defence in the league as well. Not bad for your first full season of management.
-
Well which part isn't true?

There will be significant backlash if Ten Hag is sacked like. Nobody wants him gone but opposition fans who don't have a clue. He's made some questionable decisions and his backing of Rashford is a bit baffling, but other than that he's reached three finals and won two trophies in two seasons. A horrible league campaign this season, but we've had insane defensive injuries. It's not a coincidence that we had our first choice CB's back for the FA Cup final, and the best team in the world barely had a sniff. They were completely shut out for 90% of the game. I would expect and hope Ten Hag gets more time. Not a full season obviously if we had a healthy team and the performances didn't improve from last year.

Most of those fan pages on Twitter just repost anything and everything. Nobody from The Sun has any reliability when it comes to us, and the only one from The Daily Mail who does is Sami Mokbel.
-
My thoughts are that I wish people would stop posting sources from The Sun and The Daily Mail.

They have. 2029. Just in.

Could see Chalobah being sold for FFP reasons. Either that or just sell another hotel.
-
In regard to this guy, I actually can't believe that we're not more involved in his transfer. With Varane going and Lindelof's exit possible, we're in desperate need for another centre back. I'd say Adarabioyo would start for us at the minute and likely play 40-50 times. We've our own FFP restrictions this summer. We should be all over this.
-
I'd be buzzing if they bought Varane given his contract ends in 4 weeks.
-
If we win today you'll be getting a picture of me in a hot tub with a beer and a cigar. It ain't happening chief. Enjoy the conference league.

Worth noting the leak merchants were feeding the press with stories of how they hated McKenna's training style and compared him to a school teacher. Granted this was years ago, but some of them are still there.
