Lads, picking apart a pre-season friendly is bad enough, but picking apart a post-season friendly is fairly embarrassing. We all know what this was about. We got £4m to walk around a pitch. We'll get another £4m to walk around a pitch tomorrow. That'll pay Isak's wages for a while.

A new mosaic wall at Old Trafford has been announced for us where fans can upload a photo of themselves and be on the wall. 20,000 photos, £60 a pop. Go on Sir Jim son. Easy million in the bag. Might upload a photo of Neesy.

No thanks. Banter club going through directors of football like this.

Very doubtful unless a good offer comes in. Same number of Premier League player of the months as Isak in 25 less games and he's only just turned 22, so would take a lot of money you'd think?

"How fans in Asia moved on from Man United" ...as we make £8m in three days there despite winning nothing and finishing 15th.

I see what you're doing Leffe, and I like it.

No chance VAR sees him stand on his hand. If it goes to VAR the goal is given. Glad it was the right decision after all. They can have zero complaints now.
-
He's probably top for us in tackles, clearances, ball recoveries etc. as well.

We have always been a huge club. The success just hasn't been there the last few years. Of course he'd have had a better career at those teams, but he stayed. if he ever wants to leave I'll never be annoyed at him for it.

He's excellent at carrying the ball. He's 90th percentile among midfielders for progressive carries per 90 in the league. As you said, his main strength is his range of passing and we usually have pacey strikers or wingers playing off him, so the gameplan is never carrying the ball towards the opponents box.
-
He's still the captain and best player at one of the biggest clubs in the world on £300k a week. He's regularly played in Europe and won a couple of trophies. It hasn't been a hard life.
-
He can do everything to an elite level. At Real or Barca there would be a lot more quality around him so he wouldn't be forcing the play as much as he has to now, and wouldn't lose the ball anywhere near as much. It's quite easy to see he would piss it in Spain at Real or Barca. All you need is some eyes. Maybe even one eye would do it.
-
He was canny until Villa started doing well. In my opinion of course. Many posts about how shit we were, so I'm enjoying this a little. I'll take what I can get from this season.
-
If it makes him feel any better Villa are the worst side we've played all year.

Yeah he might not cut it in Spain. He only managed two hat tricks against Spanish sides this season. He walks into whatever side he wants.
-
Not going to lie, he annoyed us with this. I was thinking about it during the game.

It's a girl from America who wrote that article. We all know girls and Americans know absolutely nothing about football. Right @Mike?
-
Potentially. I'm not 100% sure, but all the reports seemed to suggest it's on a season by season basis, but that players are free to renegotiate their contracts.
-
Must be some strikes on here if Tonali's volley against us isn't there. Unreal pass and finish.
-
Don't be silly. It's the Theatre of Dreams mate.
-
Yeah could be something like this. Most reports just suggested that the players agents would just renegotiate the contract. I genuinely don't know. It's just certain that the clause exists. Pretty black and white based on one season in or out of the Champions League, but probably more nuanced when it comes to multiple years.
