It is a mystery that the press and crowd are not going after this charlatan of a manager, not only for the results but more importantly for the rank dire football we play every week. We all have a vested interest in watching our games, but for a neutral its on par with Stoke for ugliness. Interestingly (not really and not surprisingly) the press are not on Redknapp's case either, despite him inheriting an expensive bunch of tosspots and adding Reme, Samba and Townshend etc to the squad. His record is worse than Hughes and Warnock.

It really makes you wonder why we bought him in the summer. His position was one of the very few that didn't need strengthening. He's completely wasted under Pardew.

Although I've never had any confidence in Pardew and want him sacked, some of our players aren't half playing crap. Perch, Shola, Jonas we know are limited at the best of times, but Cisse either offside or missing easy chances, Sissoko terrible touch and passing, MYM indecisive and lacking concentration, Debuchy mostly anonymous. Only Cabaye played really well today especially in the first half. We should be doing better than we are but technically we only have HBA, Marveaux and Cabaye and maybe Anita who are really good on the ball. Depressing.

He won the ball before he got the man. Still it was a stupid high risk tackle and very lucky it wasn't a penalty.

We are playing well enough, but a combination of poor decisions, Debuchy, and rank finishing Cisse and Taylor, means this game is still very much alive. We should be 3 up and the game over

I don't get to any matches, living 5000 miles away, is the atmosphere at the games at all like the general consensus on here? I don't get the feeling it is which is strange and disappointing. If Ashley is determined to stick by Pardew, the only way he will change his mind, is if the crowd get after him, or stop turning up every week.

Because Lukaku is bigger, faster, stronger and much better in the air.

I think he'll probably be back and HBA will go the other way, and who could blame him.

I don't think many people think Pardew is going to get sacked not even if we go down. The owners public display of faith by giving him and the others 8 year contracts illustrates that unfortunately.

Watching Wigan playing against City and they do play some lovely one touch all movement football. Martinez with better players would do very well I reckon.

Unfortunately unless we get relegated and even then it wouldn't be certain, we are stuck with the twat. More percentage underwhelming football, while our better more technical players scramble to leave. HBA and Cabaye to start.
