I find when watching games as a neutral until it starts I've no idea which team I would like to win. So Arsenal vs Spurs, I don't know, Fulham vs QPR likewise, Everton vs Liverpool, definitely Everton etc. England vs France I should be supporting England, after all I'm English. However I've lived in France a lot and liked it, England have some of the most despicable/useless players to have ever played international soccer, Cole, Terry, Gerrard, Rooney, Downing, Milner etc, and most importantly France have two of our players playing, and will attack and play with flair. Until the game starts and the first goal goes in I've no idea who I want to win.

Well it's about time he showed it, Brazil need something quickly. Marcelo who is playing just behind Neymar is playing well and was Brazil's best player against the US in my opinion.

A few people have touched on the point that playing two out and out strikers away to a top side is a luxury that our midfield and defence can't cope with. If Pardew really feels he has to start Ba and Cisse, one of them has to start wide in midfield. 4-4-2 against this Spurs side we absolutely do not match up. Pack the midfield, defend from deep and try to stop them playing. And people mentioned Pardew as a possible England manager. He is tactically weak, shown today with his team selection, and even worse what happened at Fulham in the second half when Jol changed his team's formation and we had no idea what to do.

Need to get Abeid and Gosling on, take the Dembas off, they really shouldn't have to play any longer in this game, and hope that we don't concede 7 or 8.

Playing a good team which Tottenham obviously are with such poor players as Simpson, Williamson, Perch and Obertan starting is never going to end any other way but in a thrashing.

There are only three half decent teams in the Premier League this season, Spurs are one of them, we aren't. The difference between them and us is enormous. Even with Cabaye and Tiote we'd be well beaten in this game with the weak defence we have.

It's amazing they haven't scored, defensively we are a shambles, fortunately so far there finishing is abysmal.

Actually to translate that would take a seriously long time. Cheick's french is also not that easy to understand and some of it is verging on Cote D'Ivoire patois or slang. Abeid and Ben Arfa and Demba are all much easier to understand. His wife is Senegalese and Demba occasionally gets invited to dinner. They sound afraid of him in training especially Abeid. They all sound pretty happy and all seem good friends, and have maintained their sense of being Africans. He sounds very religious. Good entertaining stuff.
