Walker is an athlete, he's fast or was fast. I don't think he's a very good footballer and I can't remember him ever sending in a good cross. Walker is not an upgrade in any sense over Trippier except maybe in a back 3. TAA is an upgrade on Trippier going forward but he can't or won't defend. Just my opinion.

I knew Trippier was likely to get dropped but for Walker that's just mind blowing. Southgate is such a dick.

It's definitely a bit shite. If the teams in this World Cup were in the premier league most would be relegated to the Championship and never seen again. The likes of Denmark and Argentina would probably be mid table, leaving England (with a different manager), Spain and France to fight for the champions league positions. Only Brazil would have a chance of winning it and Man City are probably better than them anyhow.

Rabiot has been very good so far, he would be a nice addition to our midfield.

The US are fitter faster and more athletic just need the goal they deserve. No doubt England will go and knick it at the end.
