I guess this one really all depends on the size of the fee involved. If as rumoured a pittance then keep him. If something approaching 8 figures then you’ve got to consider it from what we’ve seen so far albeit limited. He doesn’t look like a natural LB like Targett did when he returned. He offers much needed pace that our other CB’s lack but loses a notable amount of headers. Maybe too early to judge him fully yet.

We only have Fulham this week though? Arsenal and Birmingham are next week. Not being pedantic or clever. Just the way i took it TBH.

The City defender we couldn’t afford until summer hence how City nipped in ahead of us. Elanga we hoped to be part of the Anderson deal… so £20m of it covered. Forest refused and only offered us Vlac for £20m which we had to take. Guehi one would suggest the sale of 3-4 players or 1 purple and probably didn’t go as far as people were lead to believe. To do that they’d have to close it. To close it you’d have to reduce capacity. To reduce capacity you’d reduce your income. You reduce your income you reduce your PSR headroom. You reduce your PSR headroom you reduce your ability to sign players and so on…

I asked the question on behalf of you all and they confirmed every time (monthly) they meet they bring up improving the atmosphere with various ideas so the club is very aware fans want an improvement. I also had the fortune and by chance to sit beside someone high up at NUFC at a recent game and I told them we should have singing sections in all four corners of the ground so the atmosphere spreads around the ground and encourages those less forthcoming with their vocal support.
