This reminds me. At the derby last week there was a bit back and forth chanting pre game when the SOL was just filling up as players warmed up and it was notable in their corner next to us how little of them it took to make a sound. Not a Solanke fan I have to admit. Doesn’t excel in any of the basics that I look for mainly. Pace, strength, skill, finishing instinct. Heading. None of those spring to mind with him. I’m guessing however he’d pass the EH/JT no dickheads policy but that aside I think we’d be best served spending our money elsewhere. Yeah but like others have said (and you even seem to acknowledge at one point) we aren’t in a position to dictate the speed of our business. Let’s assume for argument sake EH is only wanting to add KP. Man City have set the parameters of the deal allegedly (£7m loan fee) and we can’t meet them so trying to negotiate the price down. Meanwhile Man City have the whole window to find someone able to meet their demands and if not they know they can come back to us last few days of the window or just decide to keep him as no real skin off their nose either way FFP wise this window. What are you realistically expecting us to do in that scenario?

Let’s see how it all plays out with her. After all she’s representing the International section of the fanbase in theory. Maybe her application highlighted some qualities the club see as advantageous for that role. There isn’t (as far as I’m aware). Never even heard of it mentioned in passing. Home tickets there is. I’m guessing she got them both “the old fashioned way” last season which ironically the club are clamping down on this season.
