  1. The argument is when a ST is purchased a cup final ticket is £250 at that time. You are paying £600+ for a season where you may have only 2 cup games max which you also pay extra for. No guarantees of any progress or how the season is going to pan out or refunds if games get moved etc unlike membership purchases who do get refunds if they simply decide they don’t want to go. If you want a cup final ticket each year you could get one for £250 approx (best seats in the stadium also at only 55% more than a basic best seat allocation £100) hoping your team might make it and if not re sell and get your money back. Even if you left it until after Leicester it was under £500 and before Southampton 1st Leg £700 and 2nd Leg £900. If you deduct the cost of one or both away games and bothering to travel to any of the home games and ticket costs etc it becomes a more realistic figure than those in the first few pots.
  2. But like I’ve said. I’ve a ST (£659 currently) for over 30+ years and over 200 LPs. You’ve 2x 1yr £25 membership yet got 2 Liverpool tickets when I couldn’t get any after trying at ST sale and general sale hence me asking you if your brother doesn’t want to go I’ll have it ? So I’ve no priority over you for league or cup games which is 60% of games and you’ve a choice randomly of 40% of the stadium where to sit which I don’t. I’ve a slight priority over you for a Cup Final which is really hard to argue why I wouldn’t as for the cost difference you could buy a better seat for the same price overall for what I’ve had to pay for a ST plus Final ticket ??‍♂️ You could buy a cup final ticket for approx £250 start of each year when a ST is paid for and if not needed sell it on face value. Its only a debate now because we are a proper club again. But ultimately away games a side if you are organised you can get every home game with a bit of luck and every home cup game with a bit of luck which you have been able to. You’ve also being in a slight chance of a cup final ticket for £25 membership or buy one direct via Wembley and still be no worse off as not had to attend the away games to reach the first couple of Periods. Southampton away cost me nearly £200 alone and I think I done it on the cheap compared to some. Edit: Add 2 days holiday and you are looking at nearer £300+ you could argue.
  3. But I’ve just highlighted you got 2 Liverpool tickets whilst having only a membership yet I’ve a ST for 30 years approx with over 200 LPs and I’ve not managed to get a ticket for someone to go with so not on my own. Only benefits they gain are well earned over many baron years.
  4. Like I said earlier they were available for under £500 for best seat in the house if you paid in advance like you would and use ST money you’ve saved not having one. Pretty standard these days when Blur are charging £150 and Madonna £400+ etc at Wembley for a gig you could travel and see for cheaper elsewhere. So what you are arguing it is the price not the availability. If it was first come first served for £250+ which it is a year in advance those who would want to go the most will go. If we don’t get to a final you just re-sell face value to the team that make it ??‍♂️
  5. Buy a ticket directly with Wembley. Also the criteria you mentioned is very Slim pardon the pun ?
  6. They aren’t selling any further STs though. The ground is basically split 60/40 in STs favour which is more than fair Or are you saying there should be no season tickets at all now?
  7. For a home game you could link more than enough memberships and get 8 tickets surely. I’ve bought as many before. Maybe temporarily remove some and add them in future possibly. Hope you get sorted for the final ??
  8. If you’ve got a link (not checked) I would go in via it as usually it is matched to your details. Paper tickets posted out via Wembley so if lost etc club take no responsibility. There is a booking fee and a postage fee. All in the general email but approximately £4 in total.
  9. But like I’ve said before nothing stopping you having two memberships. Either way is the same outcome. STs aren’t guaranteed a second seat. They just have access the same time as membership to obtain one if they want to. For example you got 2 tickets for Liverpool having a membership whereas I missed out twice despite having a ST. It’s the way the cookie crumbles at times ?
  10. Don’t know for sure but I’d imagine for argument sake there are 2000 tickets left after P3. P4 is allocated 500 to fight over. Then next day another 500 are added to the pot for P4 to have a second chance to fight over with P5 and then next day another 500 added for P4&P5 to fight over with P6 and then last 500 released for P4-7 fight over. I might be wrong though. They might for argument sake release out of say 2000 P4 1000 P5 600 P6 300 P7 100 with any untaken amounts added proportionally as they go along so everyone gets a diminishing chance. As that is the true sense of a ballot I guess. Thinking of it as a big gig. You’ve got say 02 priority so you get early chance but ultimately the amount is capped so you can still miss out for that purchase window and you have to try again when a fixed amount goes on general sale.
  11. All you had to do is add them to Friends & Family with a few clicks online prior to sale. Don’t want to sound harsh but if people can’t be bothered to do that then have little sympathy them being further down the pecking order. It requires very little effort ?
  12. Yes but you still can assign them manually to each member as you select them when doing them in a group.
  13. Or if you wanted to show loyalty like a 30 year old ST holder you could’ve gambled and bought one for under £500 minutes after knocking out Leicester. Or when the Semi draw was made for £700 or after the the first leg for £900.
  14. Because the vast majority of ST holders have held them since early 90’s. That’s 30 years approx loyalty and amends cost regardless of points or away games for very little for the bulk of it versus a £25 membership held for 14 months maximum since takeover. It seems pretty obvious to me. Totally understand what it’s like not attending regularly as I practically did a 14 year boycott of home games myself until MA sold up. Didn’t have the numerous friends then asking me for tickets as they do now. I’ve had some right load of chancers these last couple of weeks asking. The one thing in common is it’s only an unfair system it seems when we are doing well. End of the day everyone had a “chance” to buy a ST and also a very good “chance” to buy a membership which with a bit of organisation gets you into every league and cup game so far which you couldn’t do early 90’s so massive progress has been made. Next step is a expanded/new ground. You’ve just got to except this is a cup final and therefore the threshold is always going to be high. Even adding to that for the money you’ve saved not having a ST this year or any other year you can still use it to purchase the best seats in the house for the final. So no one can say on here they aren’t able to get a ticket for the final. They can. They just have to pay a bit more for it. Just like giving a club 30+ years of ST money.
  15. Don’t understand this. Surely regardless at what selling point you buy a cup ticket, your own seat or not you assign it to your membership number so it shoes up in your purchase history?
  16. More Bournemouth tickets just on sale. 155 points.
  17. There is though. P1 & P2 basically does they’ve just cleverly worded P2 by saying at least one away cup game which is basically saying 10pts or more as that is as low as it went down for Tranmere. Anyone who’s had a ST for 2-3yrs has opportunities to get up to that mark. So that’s the majority of deserving ST holders covered there. What the club have tried to do is acknowledge that over last 14 months that it will of been hard to earn an new loyalty points which many have bemoaned so they’ve equally rewarded those getting home cup games but they aren’t really being prioritised over those with more loyalty points. There was always going to be a cup purchase element attached to Final tickets as it ain’t the league and the club will always want to encourage and reward take up of tickets for the earlier rounds in particular. Which they’ve done. As I’ve said before the only thing I might of changed was merge P5&6 or reverse them but maybe have the amount of games P6 must of attended 3 or 4 not just 1.

Such a myth ? And that’s not counting goals wrongly disallowed for offside.
  19. @AyeDubbleYoo just spotted this on .com Tickets are STRICTLY non-transferable. Newcastle United must provide details to the English Football League on all tickets purchased (i.e. names and addresses of supporters corresponding to the seat details on the tickets issued to the supporter). The EFL has indicated that random checks will be carried out at the stadium.
  20. Not judging by current reseller price difference. Nearly £1k more for NUFC end ?
  21. The amount of STs with 100 points without cup purchase history will probably be in single to very low double figures you’d imagine. Even if they didn’t attend they’d of purchased in the main. It’s the club trying to give a small opportunity to fans of the last couple of years unable to build up any LPs due to demand.
