Closing down especially. Longstaff should’ve just blocked the shot but instead he stopped charging out and worried more about sticking his hands behind his back.

It’s a funny old game isn’t it...

Could’ve been worse. Could’ve been 26-4

Guessing West Ham weren’t expecting their bid to be accepted

PIF will definitely be keeping an eye on developments. Unless this is nipped in the bud pretty quickly, there won't be buyers coming in for any of the clubs outside of the big 6. I've always understood why clubs want to keep more of the money they generate, but this top 6 cartel stuff is an absolute joke. It should have been shut down already tbh, they will wreck English football. Busy in court today...

What is that based on, not calling you out, but I haven't seen it. I know they most likely prefer the american model with the draft picks, but I don't see this link. Stability for Liverpool/Man United? They aren't in danger of relegation any time soon. FWIW I would actually like a draft here, not that logistically its possbile really. I just see it as typical big club power grab. It's not an American thing anymore. If you look at new sports, f.ex E-sports, all the big teams around the world wants a franchise style league to protect their own brand. That's the route they've gone at Riot games and Blizzard, and all the teams have fought for a similar arrangement in CS:GO the last couple of years as well, only partly managing to do so since Valve is not as hands on with the e-sports side of the game as other game developers. If football was a newer sport, this is definitely the way it would have gone too imo, sadly. Disagree. It’s definitely an American thing. They’ve never liked relegation and their aim is to remove it. This is just the next safest bet to protect their “franchises” until they gain further control. If I’ve been lead to believe correctly approval of opposition ownership is also widespread in American sport too. Here’s Parry on TalkSport defending the idea for those who missed it. It’s 4mins in. https://talksport.com/radio/listen-again/1602493200/1602495000/

One EFL club chairman has already been on SSN saying he’s backing it and most lower league clubs will. Gary Neville has said he’s backing it, so that’s Salford behind it. Aye, it’ll find its way thru. Our game has gone As long as 11 EPL teams stay strong then it doesn’t really matter about what the ELF think. Government is totally against it also

If I’ve heard right on the radio this morning another T&C is the removal of all parachute payments. After googling this... How much is the Premiership parachute payment? In the 2017-18 season the Premier League paid £243m in Parachute Payments split amongst 8 clubs, and £100m in Solidarity Payments split amongst the remaining 64 clubs The £250 per year they’d be giving to the ELF a year would be £93 less a year on top of the abandonment of the League Cup. Surely not.

Has Henderson a tattoo on his thigh? Thought I caught a glimpse of something.
