  1. Probably not a popular thing to say these days but the era when he was doorman then his policy would be commonplace. In fact would it actually be much different today? Who knows.

  3. Was never a foul for the penalty. Slight brush. Stirling should’ve had a free kick though. That type of contact is a foul.
  4. Surprised. Thought they’d just drop the price.
  5. Rumours of Ole being removed from the wheel if next game doesn’t work out well.
  6. He didn’t go through anything he just held his ground Do you play football out of interest?
  7. So many soft penalties nowadays with VAR Defender just gets tight and sets himself to jockey and the attacker just spins and falls forcing the contact.
  8. Because refs don’t apply the rules. Only sport I know that allows officials to do what they want basically
  9. Kasper’s blindspot. Catch’s him out a lot. Dare say many a keepers TBF.

Wilson cheated. It’s a modern day penalty for sure. We’ve had other players cheat us over previous seasons which justifies this act of cheating. Fixed it for you

He didn’t kick him. His toes brushed him whilst almost mid air I’ve played football loads and you try to poke the ball away and you make slight contact with your opponent but it’s not a foul. They still stand perfectly upright and carry on playing. Players are just throwing themselves to the ground these days at the slightest brush and it’s horrible to watch.

The fuss is the contact isn’t a foul and doesn’t prevent him doing anything he wanted to illegally. Free kicks and penalties should be given for fouls. Not contact. It’s a contact sport, or at least was. It’s been a slippery slope for years and now see it happening further up the body (Henderson for England against Belgium). I find it quite sickening to watch all over the pitch these days. Possibly even more so with the silence in the grounds and fake screams of pain. Was hoping VAR was going to stamp this out but it’s actually encouraged it oddly. I think it oddly started when refs were told to manage games to avoid anything explosive building up so they keep killing the natural rhythm of games by giving free kicks for non fouls all over the pitch. The fact Kane wasn’t booked for diving yesterday sums up where we are at in the game sadly. It’s horrible to watch.
  13. The “big six” references on Sky all day today is really grinding my gears today
  14. Just seen the penalty decision. Bloody hell
  15. So no criticism from outside NUST is welcomed or to be listened to? Great attitude If it’s justified for sure. I still don’t think people understand what the role of NUST is and how it allows people like yourself to get involved in it. Whats the point of you defending them. Once they slept in with masters their reputation is dead. I would have giving them the benefit of doubt but the previous members ( like Thomas got re-elected ) so it is hopeless. I try to defend them because the couple of people I know who are involved in it give up a hell of a lot of their free time unpaid for the long term good of the club. It’s a hard gig at any club I’d imagine but with our owners almost thankless. Seems to be the case with some of the fan base too.

  17. The two people involved in this might have a lot of time on their hands and expertise in this area where the NUST haven’t and it’s not their sole purpose. Well we’ll agree to disagree as I think it it is relevant that you are criticising volunteers for something you aren’t prepared to volunteer to do yourself. Easy to just sit back and criticise.
  18. He’s f***ing spot on aswell. Bemused by these two comments. Please explain? Basically Wraith questioned why it has been up to 2 fans to take legal action, when this should have been the route trust went down. Got to say I completely agree with him. They seemed to revel in the glory of getting the takeover on the agenda at a fans liaison meeting, then basically said that’s us done it’s over to the consortium now. Again in my view they accepted the PL’s answers way to easily, in the end they were played by Masters and co. I get they’re ordinary working people doing this for nothing, however so are these 2 blokes who seem to be achieving a great deal more. On a final note this view may seem harsh as I accept they do some good work, however I don’t believe spirit of shankly or man u’s various groups would have just accepted the PL’s version of events and backed down. Yes I appreciate they are an official trust, however they did happily piggy back on the takeover to recruit new members. Controversial maybe but that’s how I see it. The Trust is just a small handful of a few fans that love NUFC. With lives. Family’s. Jobs. COVID worries. Excuse me if it’s not the case here, but I get the impression some fans think it’s this professional full time organisation with admin teams, PR teams, legal teams and contacts across the board. It’s literally half a dozen fans no different to half a dozen of people off here (both in some cases) giving up quite a lot of their spare time for the good of NUFC. They have just completed recruitment for a new board to push things forward. I take it you volunteered your spare time and let the members decide if you can bring something to the table?
