He plays possession based football which is exactly what McClaren tried to play and had to scrap after a month. We dont have the players for it. No manger is suited to the players we have I was looking at the bigger picture and the type of footy that goes down well in all the years I've been following them. Don't think he's possession obsessed and always moves the ball forward quickly IMO. One of the few teams I enjoy watching in the league despite the results.

Plus Perez has actually scored 5 goals for us this season and needs the confidence to keep playing from a new manager. De Jong has done f*** all for us this season. Based on the fact he's better. Perez should be used as an impact sub against tired legs. Totally agree. Basically what we did that got us our two best results of the season against Liverpool and Spurs.

Definitely how I'd sum up our experience with them in'04. Aye. Some mates of mine went who are no shrinking violets and they described it as very edgy.

Not in my opinion mate and certainly not this one. It's between us, Norwich and the Mackems for the drop can't see Palace, Swansea or anyone else joining the bun fight to stay up We are all in it. Long way to go to rule others out.
