If he can develop his left foot and aerial threat he’ll be scary to play against.
-
TrillerTV+ No idea what it is though.

Like I said. Judgement should be made after the close season. They may surprise you…

I don’t mind spending limits for clubs but all teams competing in the same division must be allowed to spend the same amount of money regardless of their income. If Luton want to spend as much as Man City then so be it. It’s Man City’s upper limit than needs to be controlled and everyone else just falls within it until someone else grows bigger and surpasses it and sets the bar higher for everyone.
-
Yes but both theirs have been in discussion much longer and like you’ve said still to be installed until close season. What are you actually expecting to of happened within the space of a month or two?
-
When were you expecting them to do this?! The meeting about the atmosphere was only a couple of month ago. Any changes like that would need a safety certificate to allow the club to proceed you’d think then it’s not a job that can just be done in between games. See what happens close season.

Have to disagree. I feel the threat of a card has lead to his best form. Playing with his head over heart with controlled emotions and ultimately not getting caught ahead of the play as much.
-
How is that a penalty?
-
Sounds about right. Or is it £168kpw with the club issuing that one £38m share

Agree… but let’s win one trophy first ???

Devils advocate… They were always going to introduce digital tickets ASAP as it’s a way of collecting data of how many people turn up early and how much they spend etc. You were given the option not to have a digital ticket if you didn’t want one. The value of the memberships can be debated until the cows come home. Those who’ve bagged anything more than 4 home tickets should see it great value. Those who bagged 4 tickets fair value. Those who have bagged 3 or less not good value (based on applying for every home game this season). ID checks for away games was the solution from a debate from a fans meeting saying current system was unfair. It’s 50/50 at best again for those who prefer this and those who don’t. I’d stick my neck out and say more people are actually happier with it as it’s giving more people a chance. Ultimately transferring away tickets has never been allowed legally. Those mainly lambasting are part of a coach travel/ticket operation that’s been in place for decades with some fans having access to 30+ STs and really the only ones the club is looking to ID check. The NUST is only the voice of 10-12k fans. We’ve 35k ST holders approx and 90k members approx so even dialogue with them isn’t really equivocal consensus.

You’d be wrong to then. He only allegedly said this a month ago (I maintain from his previous quotes and video interviews the words “competing to” alongside winning is missing hence the missing double quotation marks) so it’s 5yrs from now. When the club was taken over it was 5-10yrs and that was when they thought they could spend what they want and to be fair to AS she shortly corrected that saying she got carried away a bit in the moment.
-
Let’s see where we are 5yrs from now (2029) That’s when those people should have those expectations. Not now. If we are taking these words verbatim then you can’t pick and choose which ones.
-
The problem they have ultimately is a lot of the fans are either clueless or selfish. Engaging with them too much would probably leave the club making decisions that hamstring the club. Anyone who thinks we can compete at the top end within 5yrs without radically improving our revenue streams are in cloud cuckoo land. What do we really want them to engage with us on short term? If the reality is a new ground is needed ready for 2028. Ticket sale policy perhaps and safe standing deployment ??♂️ Everything else I’d imagine they’d keep in mind for construction of a new stadium to avoid ruffling too many feathers. Or they will start incorporating once season is over and the feasibility study is announced. They’ve announced ST prices today. NUST have sent a response today and it looks like Eales has responded same day. Not sure what more could be done?
-
It’s not a verbatim quote “” as I’ve pointed out so not to be quoted really. You can see in the video what he actually says.
-
I found this @Keegans Export but if you notice the bit you quoted isn’t in full quotation marks. You’ve got to be careful as websites take liberties… A presentation was delivered referencing the club’s established vision: ‘We’re going to build a results-driven, world class, sustainable organisation that consistently achieves top six status for men’s and women’s teams and wins major trophies, within the next five years.’ DE gave further context to the club’s progress: “The club’s revenue growth over the last two seasons and into this season has been incredible. “Off the pitch, because we started from a low revenue base, we are still a long way behind the top six in the Premier League. Since we can only spend a percentage of revenue, we always look to spend the maximum we can on the team within Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR). “This means it is vital that we look at ways to raise revenue streams, whether through matchday, St. James’ STACK, commercial partnerships, retail/merchandise, tours, hospitality and events.”
-
Wins or competes is his mantra in this interview on the record along with sustainable top 6 club. Which is a sensible realistic statement… Here’s the Fan Engagement link and no sign of your quote. Where did you lift it from? Not that it’s wildly different but it is ultimately different to saying we are going to win things. That would be silly. Try to compete to win things as above is fair and sensible. https://www.nufc.co.uk/media/79761/fep_august-2023.pdf

Yeah can’t see EH deviating from Schar & Burn central partnership for the rest of the season.
-
Yes was all planned but the land owner started playing funny buggers with the price at the 11th hour and it fell through iirc.
-
That was said before they brought in new rules I believe. Also was said to be an aim/goal. Not we will. This was the most recent vision statement based on current rules. With the word “competing” for major trophies in 5 years to give its true context.
-
Wouldn’t be against Jacob Murphy playing RB. Especially in a back line potentially struggling for pace in the other 3 positions.
-
Only been watching Ederson but agree. Nothing special so far.
-
Need to rename ground whilst building a new one also.
