Pointless including Taylor as we SHOULD have a replacement in within the month, so as of current: ------------------------------------------------------- Krul Simpson Williamson Coloccini Santon Jonas Tiote Cabaye Hatem Ba Best ------------------------------------------------------- There is obviosly still a couple of weak links in the squad, and the right side will not link up well at all, but unless we bring anyone else in I would atleast like to see us try something like this.

The only baffling decision he has made so far that has actually came off is the Ameobi sub against Tottenham. Everything else that has been "Pardew what the fuck are you doing?" has proved to be fucking idiotic after the final whistle.

The man is a fucking idiot, it's quite apparent now.

Pre-season specialist Haris Vučkić joins FC Twente

Looked decent during that minute period of decent possession we enjoyed -
Routlege is a far better footballer, he suffers from the same phobia as Paul in that he's shit scared to run at anyone in the Premiership, but he could actually cross a ball to some degree, and most of all he made full use of his pace on the break. If there was space to run into Routlege would find it, if there is space to run into Obertan will come to a halt and start dancing about on the ball like a mad cunt.
-
That has very little to do with him losing the ball a few times tonight like, but yeah you are correct. He's a far better footballer than he showed against 'pool though, pointless making excuses for him
-
honestly cant remember him receiving a pass or anyone looking to play a pass after he came on. He did receive a pass a few times and promptly lost the ball attempting to get past people when he had no chance of doing so. Yeah, I cannot really blame him like but he lost the ball a few times on his own accord tonight. He did show Obertan how you relieve your team of pressure in a defensive situation once though (when he took the ball back to the touchline and played it back across to Williamson)
-
You say Tiote, but I lost count of the amount of times he lost possession tonight with fairly short passes. If you're relying on him to be creating something then there's something wrong. Cabaye has some quality about him, certainly, but it's not exactly been abundant from the games I've seen. I guess that can partially be explained from having to work with utter crap like Obertan. Indeed did Jonas actually do anything of note at all tonight? When Tiote gets crowded out he can start going a bit daft tbh, he's a differant player when we're not allowing a team to effectively press us constantly for the majority of the 90 minutes. It is a flaw of his though. Cabaye has shown his quality, some of his passing is excelent and with reletive ease. There has been a fair few games where he hasn't been able to offer much other than his work rate and 'bite' though, which hasn't always entirely been his fault I would guess. But as you say, the praise is a bit strong at times, especialy when people are pinning him as one of the players of the season so far etc.

As I've said before, i'll seriously look into getting him sectioned
-
In that case, fucking hell
-
has to keep within the twitter letter limit to be fair to him

By 'brought in' I meant starting Santon and Ben Arfa ahead of Taylor and Obertan/Best, as opposed to buying players, I just worded it in the worst way possible I agree that we're doing ok though, well above our weight until the past few weeks, it's just irritating to see such a good start met with such a poor display of results, home and away. But thats just football!

Pardew is one of a pool of managers who could largely be described as "meh" - totally unremarkable, might do a decent job if they wind up at the right club at the right time, might get you lumbered at the arse end of the table. Unfortunately, bar the top six, we're all fishing for managers from that pool. Strikes me that, though he undoubtedly has his failings, Pardew has done pretty well for you lot this far. Given that, I reckon your last line is spot on. That's the thing though from a fans point of view, he seems like he's actualy a very good manager (atleast as for what we could get, like you say) but he has a stuborness that (again from a fans POV) seems utterly absurd. It's all ifs and buts, but I fully believe that had he brought in the obvious players earlier in the season we'd be a few points better off atleast. You could probably say the same about McLeish aswell like

I did imagine it, my bad. The referee was paying attention to the Tiote/Henderson incident I thought anyway -

The challenge was on Adam wasn't it? Spearing and one of our players went down in a heap seconds earlier though. I'm willing to accept that I may have completely imagined this whole scenario like -

Said it in the other thread but i'm sure the referee was paying attention to the Spearing incident -
