Pulisic has already shown great numbers in the league too, 9 goals and 4 assists in his first season (25 games). His numbers were hardly terrible last season either (6 goals and 2 assists in under 1300 minutes).
-
It's also not counted if a player doesn't get a touch, so if a ball is flashed across the goal line and a player misses sliding in by a few inches it wouldn't count (from what I've read before anyway). At least in the free models, I had no idea the behind closed doors models were so much different tbh, I just assumed they had large data analysis teams sorting the data more accurately or something, it's interesting stuff.

I don't think xG is anywhere near accurate enough to be used for 1 game like, it has it's uses but anyone with eyes can see that Zaha should have put the winner away.

There was a lot of talk of teams increasing their asking price in January, I don't know how true it all is but we could just be making a point that we will walk away from deals as soon as clubs go beyond our price. From the outside looking in the perception of us has changed massively. Like we can go in for Madison at our price, what's the worst that can happen? Either we get lucky and they agree, or they refuse and we walk away and the narrative around us continues to change. It's annoying from a fan perspective as part of the transfer window is the spectacle of it all, but from the club's perspective it might make a lot more sense.

Newcastle United vs. Manchester City - 21/8/22 @ 4:30pm (Sky Sports)

Fulham aimed for Mitrovic against Liverpool and then aggressively hunted down the 2nd ball, we could do that if we push Joelinton up further. I think we'll have learned a lot from Brighton though, reverting to pumping balls up for Dunk to bat away for fun was painful, Dias will probably do the same. -
I wouldn't be surprised to see Howe playing a physical, hard working forward who will win plenty of balls in the air, out on the wing, or alongside Wilson like.
-
Any striker we bring in is probably going to be raw or unproven though as most won't want to sit behind Wilson for another couple of year. I imagine we would still be looking to bring in either a winger or a central midfielder though.

Not sure if giggs but saw people mentioning his playtime upfront:
-
I mean I do get people wanting us to make great signings and being disappointed if we don't, I just don't see where people are coming from with their disappointment of Joao Pedro, other than his goal record at a young age I cannot see what they're basing their disappointment off? The fact we didn't go for Dennis or Cornet despite their relatively low fees should be a decent indicator that anyone we are going for is a very high target we'll know a lot about.
-
But even so Motrovic has had another 3 seasons or so to be judged on in the Premiership, Pedro is still 20. I've always really liked Mitro but I don't see how anyones opinions on him are relevant here? Plenty of examples of players 20/21 scoring nowt then suddenly hitting 10-15 in a breakthrough season.
-
Can you? You're literally just twisting things to suit your view like. Mitrovic also played for Fulham in the prem at a later age which will effect people's view of him. Harshly judging a 20 year olds record is obviously silly either way.

What a total fucking clown Nunez is like The bloke tapped him on the shoulder, should be out for half the season.
-
Mad Hope never tweeted that a week ago like
-
Honestly thought it was universally agreed he was a really promising player Come on here amd apparently he's pureblood Ameobi. I really like the look of this kind of signing with a couple more in.
-
That's class like
-
Odoi is still only 21. Harrison would be perfect for us imo.

The only thing the oddballs at RTG get out of supporting sunderland is the dopamine hit from making up tales about Newcastle. It's creepy as fuck, but there's nothing at all they would accept that goes against them being able to do that. It's an addiction.

We might have to anoint Kanji as our resident yank ambassador to keep check of the mentalists.

Not sure why any ITK would 'tease' instead of just releasing his exclusive.

You'd hope a manager will eventually come up with a blueprint to beat them like. As good as they are they're essentially playing 2-7-1. -
