This. Are you for real? Your calling for a boycott 1 minute and then agreeing that we shouldn't be potesting while players are on the pitch the next? Jesus f***ing wept man. What's wrong with what Neesy has posted? Calling for us to be 100% behind the team 1 moment and boycotting the team the next, realy. It may just be me like but it seems a tad contradictory. It is, but that is my principle. If you choose to go the game then that is fine, but don't go there to moan and protest it isn't fair on the players to play in-front of that. Boycotting the club for the greater future is slightly different in my eyes. If it garenteed Ashley would sell up AND to a better owner then I would agree, it doesn't though. The only thing it does garentee imo is that it would be damaging to our performances. Protesting outside the stadium is different, I don't think it would make a differance but if it isn't affecting our performances on the pitch then theres probably no harm done.

If you boycott 90 minutes of football in protest then I would say that you are technicaly protesting throughout 90 minutes of football.

No some people just don't live in some kind of fantasy land and understand that all of these protests are absolutely pointless and tbf just make us look thick as f***. Support the team, tell Ashley he's a c*** if needs be, but the last thing we need is players hiding on the pitch because the crowd is getting on everyones back or non-existant. We need to try and come out stronger, not feed the fire. Your the type of person that he'll piss on time and again, and you'll not f***ing see it again & again. People didn't even boycott the club last time anycase. He'll piss on us all time and time again, people like you more-so if you genuinly believe after 4 or so years that he genuinly gives a f*** what the we think. Anything we do to try and damage Ashley will allways have an effect on the club also, protests/boycotts cannot exactly be helpfull for the players or whoever takes the managerial job. And what will happen 1 year down the line, he'll do the same f***ing thing again. We need to take a step back if we are going to ever go forward again as a club. Are you actualy been serious here btw or is this some big piss take?

fucking pointless and it'll only dammage us further. look at 2 seasons ago man, we've just got to accept it, sadly enough.

Looking at the favourites for the job just fucking depresses me to be fair.

This was a little winless blip we were on, but any sane bloke could see that with 5 first teamers out it would be difficult, and you only need to look at our performances throught the season to see that Christ clearly knew what he was doing.
-
Perhaps he raped someone in that "hour long dressing room talk" after the match there talking about, it's the only explanation to be honest. My bets on lil Wayne

what a fucking stupid decision, absolutely silly.

Last 4 games we've been Barton-less, and in 3 of them we've uncharicteristicly sat back for long periods of time and allowed the opposision to attack us (Chelsea is understandable, but Bolton & WBA we realy should be taking the game to). Coincidence or not I don't know, but we've definatly played some of the worst football all season the past few games for whatever reason. With Nolan, Barton & Tiote in the side something seems to click, whatever it is I don't think anyone knows, but we're definatly a better side when they are all on the pitch, and the performances prove that.
-
We have a 100% record in games where Barton, Nolan and Tiote have all played the full 90 minutes
-
Against Liverpool he'll recieve a certain yello/red and be out for another 1-3 games, pretty much garenteed tbh.
-
He's started one league game and one cup game before today. yeah and he looked good, which is what i'm judging him on...
-
Sol has been decent to be fair thi season when he's covered bar today, in which admitedly he was woeful. Certainly wouldn't say he's passed it yet, not the player he was by a long shot mind.
-
With Nolan, Barton & Smith/Tiote (the latter especialy as opposed to Smith) in the same midfield we were able to pretty much bully the opposision's midfield and we also had the quality to keep the ball too, we realy lack that withought Barton, Nolan & Tiote together and I think our recent posesion stats would probably back me up. We've been pretty light in the physical department recently in the centre which was one of our biggest strenghs imo
-
Aye, everyonecomplaned that we never created enough, which to be fair they had a point. In the earlier parts of this season though, playing 4-4-2 or 4-5-1 we never had a truly bad game even when we were beaten, recently though we've had a couple of absolute stinkers which I think says more about our squad depth than it does our tactics.
-
Coloccini and Williamson let 5 goals in the last time they played and both received 3 match bans, that's s*** form. The defence isn't always the reason that we let in goals, our midfield was s*** in both games. This, we allowed both Bolton and WBA far too much time on the ball, I dare not even look at the possesion stats today.
-
Barton in the centre tends to stay to deep for me, when he's out wide he seems get involved much more and infact in the games he's played out there has pretty much bossed th midfield (he certainly did against the Mackums and Arsenal)
-
Nolan has played in most of our poor games, holding today up as a reason to play him doesn't stand up when our heaviest defeat of the season was with him in the team. Nolan as his worst is almost as bad as Guthrie was today as in both cases we play with a man down. I understand that statement is subjective and either of us could be right or it could be somewhere in between. Im not claiming the result today would be any differant with him in the side dont get me wrong, I just think his weaknesses are over analysed and his qualities completely ignored by most unless he scores (in which case the forum goes into overload as to how he is indespeniable to the team )
