Yeah but milner was pretty mediocre for us anyway. His price had went up dramatically during his time with us so he was hardly mediocre but if you have convinced yourself that fairplay to you. when he had a good game he was brilliant but as a winger he was (and still is) pretty average to be fair. It was obvios when at us that he had talent, but he hardly effectivly utilised it week in week out to great effect.

They're basing their season on us now. Steve Bruce came out and said that they have to make sure they finish higher than us after the thrashing we gave them. Just found out one of the new lads at my place is a mackem, so I give him a bit of stick about the lesson we gave them..his reply was.. 'yeah, but we're higher in the table than you' and 'we'll finish above you' They're unbelievably obsessed with us! Tossers. to be fair like you can hardly call him obsessed when YOU brought both teams into the argument first

I could possibly see an arguement for discounting penalties, but free kicks? If anything, free kick goals should held in a higher regard, much harder than your average tap in or header past the keeper from 8 yards away. His argument wasn't discounting either, quite the opposite actualy

Yeah, we sort of got a bit of our own medicine today, like us Bolton appear to be a fairly physical side who have learned to keep possesion well, even when we've lost this season we've usualy bossed the midfield with Tiote and Barton pretty much running the show, today though we we're completely outclassed in pretty much every way as soon as the first goal went in, with only Carrol (who was exelent in the 2nd half for me) the only player to come out of the game with any credibility. The sooner we have both Tiote and Barton on the field together the better, Smith and Guthrie are fucking dire in comparison.
