  1. Berge doesn't seem to have played a great deal over the last few years like?
  2. it's an oxymoron man. Obviously murdering people in the street is juxtaposed with world peace.
  3. There's arguments that it's good for lower league sides but as an actual sporting competition the League Cup is pretty pointless.
  4. I know it's Christmas, Stan, but what do you get out of being a relentlessly contrarian bore?
  5. I don't know what it is, but I think we'd be a step closer to world peice if we publicly executed people who speak like them twats. It's like some weird self-absorbed tech nerds trying to talk like a 90s Californian skateboarder or summit. "Like I didn't know what I was going to do with this creative space but I knew it was going to be FUCKING RAD."
  6. His best position looks to be as a ball winning midfielder, him adding goals and assists to that would be nice but it's hardly the expectancy of his role in the team. Absolutely pointless still judging him as a striker.
  7. Not suggesting we try to buy either of them or out like just examples
  8. That seems a bit fantastical though. Do you think that if we had Raphinha and Maddison or something that they'd be standing about confused as where to be when ASM is on the ball?
  9. Eh? I'm not trying to start a pissing contest you know? ASM's end product is hit and miss and he makes the wrong choice now and then but numerous times in the past couple of weeks our counter attacks have broken down because Wilson is the only one in sight with his back to goal. We have no threat coming from the right wing and the lack of goals in the centre of the pitch is blatantly obvious.
  10. It's depressing watching him create a bit space and there to be absolutely nobody in sight who seems to know what to do or where to be. It's why I think a winger on the other side of the pitch and a goalscoring CAM/CF are a must.
  11. Nothing gets me harder than a CB pinging a 70 yarder like. If that 'scout report' is a fair reflection of how he is on the regular then it's a no brainer.
  12. Was shagging an Arsenal fan the other night and she literally cried "CALL IZ SUPER KEV" as I was about to fire one over her tits.
  13. That's quite a bit different than some random 3rd party crypto then isn't it? Like crypto as a way forward is interesting but it's a different conversation than some recent millionaire hipster trying to buy a football club with a Shiba fork or some shit.
  14. Who would be behind the digital pound though?
  15. Well yeah but do you think we're at a spot now where it should be within football?
  16. Not a massive crypto nerd but atm it seems to basically be a vehicle to buy tack off the darkweb or to win/lose money on betting if a coin will rise. The latter is probably much more effective than sports betting tbf. As actual currencies they are a long, long way off being even remotely useable like.
  17. They're restricted by FFP (Financial Fair Play). People were suggesting we would have about 190 mil to spend but the more we spend of that the less we can spend in future windows. Basically we sort of have to balance buying players we need to take us to the next level and players we really just need to keep us up until the summer. Loans and players coming to the end of their contract fit in the latter bracket.
  18. I think a 4 1/2 year deal would be fair enough tbh, he'll have at least another 2 1/2 years at the top you'd imagine and then another couple years as an experienced squad member. He looks in good nick.
  19. That's obviously bullshit like, I cannot see us having any issues paying him 120 a week It's probably on the lower end of what you would expect us to be offering a player like Trippier.
  20. It would be regardless of how it's done tbf, clubs should have access to video from the VAR room or something. It does explain the baffling decisions though. It's a silly implementation but I assume it was to try and reduce the use of VAR and give more weight to the referee's calls.
  21. Eh? It's clear how it works it's just a very bad system. It's judged a clear and obvious error if the referee cannot describe the incident, whether or not his decision was wrong isn't factored into it. Ie when Lascelles threw Chamberlain to the deck the ref would have needed to say something like "there was a collision between Lascelles and Chamberlain, the latter went to ground too easily" to prove that he saw the incident. The fact we can watch it back and see that it was a clear foul isn't factored in. He's proven he saw the incident so VAR won't check it
  22. Regardless of what Clark was doing Dubravka needs to claim that ball like. They both looked gormless as fuck.
  23. Where do we stand on the FA Cup winners being given a Champions League spot, then?
