Aren't Sky meant to be the ultimate Magedia producer?
-
nice one. Sky could have made it clearer in the info box like

Not working on Sky for me. The program says 'Freeview' but it's asking me to upgrade my subscription?

I was the opposite tbh, I didn't want him at the time. I think he's shown massive changes under Benitez though and I don't think it's fully down to the competition. He seems like a different bloke.
-
He was probably set for the Euros if he never fucked up at Swansea. People can obviously argue how good of an achievement that is, but it's probably slightly higher than the Championship. I'm not going to defend him before this season like, he was awful last year and by all accounts he just couldn't be fucked at Swansea, he seems to have sorted his head out though - as even at the start of this season he looked rubbish.
-
This is his level Howay man, he might not go on to boss the Premiership but he's clearly a Premiership player and is only 24.
-
He'll get the cups, otherwise he'll basically be our Ulloa you'd imagine. Next season might be a different story though, our place in the Premiership is obviously a lot different that here.

A section of our fans enjoy direct football where you fire the ball towards a big lad, and with Mitro being such an aggressive player it gets them pumped up just like him. It's exciting if sometimes not very effective. Got nowt to do with a lust for direct football man. It's just support for a player generally well liked for the effort he displays. Aye, absolutely nothing to do with direct football like In any case TRon with Shelvey, Gayle and Atsu/Ritchie we're naturally going to be fairly direct anyway, direct doesn't exactly mean we're randomly punting it up the pitch. Everything goes through our midfield nowadays. We pretty much never had one a year ago.

Have you been reading the Chronicle? http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/rafa-benitezs-decision-leave-aleksandar-12046018 IMO, he wasn't used because he wasn't needed. If it was still 0-0 at 65/70 minutes then we'd have seen him. But we were controlling the game and didn't need to change anything which is why the subs came on late. He'll have a part to play this season, but he cant drop Gayle when he is scoring so many goals. Aye, he was brought on against Norwich becuase we needed to break them down and against Rotherham becuase they'd won about 40 corners. Probably the same thinking against Villa too as they were killing us in the air for the last 20 minutes. He gives us an outlet to hit when under pressure as well. 2-0 up against Barnsley he's probably thinking the pace of Atsu, Diame and Gayle can get in behind.

I think Anita will get a deal, he was good at RB at the end of last season and he seems no bother, just gets on with what he's asked. In hindsight the stick we gave him was outrageous, as poor of a CM as he is. That's what Pardew does to you though.

Isn't he the exact opposite type of manager Mike has wanted? He wanted to build a system above the manager that would do the bulk of the work and have a manager come in who would basically just coach the players and pick the team. The aim being that he could be easily replaced (their words). Getting Rafa in and giving him pretty much full control is basically the death of his old system, although from a financial standpoint it'll probably run the same way. We saw instant changes with signing 30+ aged players.

Doesn't need to be 4-4-2, Could be Gayle off Mitrovic or Murphy. FWIW I think when Murphy is fully fit and fully intergrated I think that's what we'll do, call it 4-4-1-1 0r 4-2-3-1 whichever you want. Why would you move Gayle anywhere though? It's not broken, at all. I like Mitrovic and I hope he gets his chance at some point in the season, but there's really no need to change anything yet. We're comfortably putting games to bed and rarely look troubled at the back.
-
we need to keep him away from him like, it's not even subtle anymore, he's going to end up choakslamming him through an advertising hoarding.
-
Aye, he rotates based on what him and his team see leading up to the game. He doesn't just do it for the craic.

Nah just think Gayle is the top scorer in the league. Aye, he plays one striker and Gayle is basically undroppable at the minute, wouldn't look too much into it. That article tooj posted the other day made a point of how almost pointlessly meticulous he is too, he wont bring someone on if he doesn't think they're going to help out in the way he wants. Not subbing Materazzi on for a cameo in his final game when the were 3-0 up for example
