The Blackburn fans?
-
Ferrara too, the Italians have had some gorgeous defenders.
-
A lot of the English public think this is a good decision. Got Bolton to 8th or something fucking donkeys ago and is a no nonesense bloke, he'll sort 'em out, or something. The FA are no different, their footballing knowlege is incredibly narrow for an organisation tasked with running the sport for an actual country.

Just to really rub in their incompetence.

Newcastle United transfer rumours in the press

Of those three, Tiote is the only one Rafa will want to keep IMO. I don't think he rates the other two much. Why do you think that about Thauvin? Thauvin looks very much like an out and out wide man who thinks his only job is going forward. Rafa is all about shape, he won't want someone who leaves gaping holes behind him every time we lose possession. I hope Thauvin proves me wrong mind, I'd love to see him show some work rate this season. He certainly didn't in his few games last year. Think it was the West Ham and Watford games he started and was all over the pitch trying to get involved, if that's any indication of what he's willing to do then he'll be fine following instructions I think. Never seen him in France like. -
If we get £20m+ for him we'll have done an amazing job, he's never looked anywhere close to that with us.
-
Keep forgetting how young Mbemba is
-
Out of the 3 Hanley will probably be our best defender at the minute like, I'd be suprised if he doesn't start. I really want Lascelles to make it though, and was sort of hoping he'd be captain despite his age.
-
Well when you're managing to look as bad as Jack Colback in midfield a lot of the time I think its worth losing a bit of pace to add a bit to the weakest part of your game for your position I mean I'm not coaching the guy, I don't know exactly how it works but I think if the club wanted him to bulk up they'd give him a diet and training regime which he'd follow.
-
He probably would be considering there first choice RB is Kyle Naughton.
-
Well I mean he could and I assume does work on his strengh like. It's a trade off though, you get bulkier and you potentially lose pace and agility. It's not just strengh that's his problem anyway, he's not a tenatious player like Kante (as the obvious example) and you cannot really teach that. He's never going to be combative in midfield.
-
Here man you're the one who claims he doesn't care because he's fairly lightweight It's just the way he's built and he isn't exactly in bad shape in any case.
-
He's actually in decent shape as is tbh, he's just not that kind of player and never will be. Nothing much that can be done about it.
-
It might as well have been. A player cannot just hit the weights and transform into a midfield powerhouse
-
If Anita really really cared he'd be 7ft tall.
-
I think he's a bit of a cunt as well, I just find it strange you have no problem with someone who blatantly didn't try for about 5 months and you do have a problem with Sissoko Because it has nothing to do with their performances. I think he comes across as a total cunt, more so than any player we've had in our last Premiership stint, that's pretty much the long and short of it.
-
Nowhere near the excess Sissoko has the past year plus like, nobody has. Here, I think he's a tit, you love the bloke, whatevs man.
-
  class
-
Err, I don't like Sissoko because of the way him and his agent go on with the press, I thought my post made that pretty clear like. As a player I think he's decent and I've never bought the 'he doesn't try' rhetoric. As for Wijnaldum, when Rafa arrived we moved to play a much more reserved game to prevent us from conceding the customary 3 goals a match and he blatantly wasn't up for it - he isn't up for much when we're not on top tbh (or have little in the way of attack). This was a system where Jack Colback was a better option than (the admittedly overrated) Jonjo Shelvey. He was shite for over half of the season like, not just under Rafa, I'm not going to stick up for his performances.
-
I exaggerate a bit but I just find him a complete arsehole and he typifies the pre-Benitez Newcastle. Just a joke of a club where no player of any worth is proud to wear the shirt. If this was the first time he'd come out and said he wanted to leave (post-relegation) it'd be fine, but he's been saying it for over a year, even when the club was fighting to stay in the league he's sending his agent out to tell anyone who will listen how mint he is and how much he wants to play for a club worthy of his presence. Townsend made a horrible decision imo and it was annoying that he played the I LOVE YIS card then fucked off after a dozen games. Wijnaldum I don't really mind, we've been relegated and he obviously should go to a club in a higher league - wrong club at the wrong time really.

Aye, they were all called 'Mick' as well, from what I remember... 'Uncal Mick', 'Our Mick', and 'Little Micky'..... now with added Wagner Mick! Gotta love Uncal's laceless Reebok classics... probably confiscated so he doesn't harm himself. aye you're right, all 3 of them. It's sketch show material.
