I think that's a bit simplistic TBH, you could equally say Cabaye isn't quick enough and can't beat a player. Well not really, because Cabaye is as calm as they come and has the ability to keep us ticking. If he was quick and could beat players he would probably going to Real Madrid for about £60m instead of PSG.

Pardew doesn't rate a player so Foluwashola ignores everything he's ever seen of the lad on the pitch and just assumes "ahh, he musn't be very good." Anyone who's watched Marveaux knows he has talent on the ball and can play in the hole behind the strikers, which is incidentally where we need someone to play the next 2 games. He can go missing in games but even when he does he's no more ineffective than Sissoko has shown in the same position.

I'd much sooner play Marveaux in front of Anita and Tiote than Sissoko taking Cabaye's place. It's the only way we'll get any creativity through the middle of the pitch.
