Aye like when you thought Cisse wasn't ready, you fucking mug. If he's fit play him, he's the only striker we have ffs
-
That's how I saw it, although I would say "expected" rather than "deserved." I think it's utterly ridiculous that a player will be sent off and miss a further 3 games for that, but we've seen it happen so many times before.
-
It really would be great to have an FA like that. Fucking hate these totalitarian cunts.
-
He's done this for literally every red card we've had under him fwiw.

I don't agree with the rules but Remy pushes his head into Johnson, watch it again if you can find it.
-
How is this even f***ing possible? They did the exact same thing? Remy pushed his head towards Johnson which is violent conduct (daft rule but he should know better). Johnson was a bit shouty and stuck his chest out. You can see why Remy's was upheld and Johnson's wasn't, it's just a shame they have no intention of stamping down on cheating. Wait, what? Both went clearly head to head. Johnson also instigated the little thing. Remy pushed his head into Johnson's. Johnson squared up to him in the first place but it was Remy who made the contact. It's a silly rule but we cannot really complain. EDIT: When it happened I instantly knew Remy was gone and expected Johnson to stay. He fell for it hook, line and sinker.

They've literally done nothing to stamp down on play acting since it started becoming more and more prominent however many years ago, not a fucking thing About a 20% chance of being yellow carded for a dive in the penalty area, that's it.

He should know the rules so he cannot really complain, it's just a shame that they're quite happy to let the playacting stand when they had a perfect opportunity to make a statement. Their continuing trend of letting that kind of thing go unpunished is embarrassing. Fucking pathetic.

Utterly ridiculous if we cant even find a bit part role for him, and criminal if he'ms sold without a replacement for Cabaye brought in.

Her was my favourite player, pipping Ben Arfa due to the fact he actually played. His magnificent jawline helped too. -
You have to make a second bid for that to happen. We probably will make a second bid, but ala Debuchy it'll be in the next window.
-
I think we'd take him for a low fee like, I just we obviously realise that the low fee we're offering has a 99% chance of being rejected. Like them scruffs who chance their hand bidding 99p for teles on Ebay.
-
Some will still defend it as genuinely trying though. Not me, trying is not the issue. Either we make signings or we don't. The very fact that so few fans care about 'trying' makes the made-up bids thing so ridiculous in the first place. It's not that the bid is made up. The bid is purposely low, they know Lyon wont accept it but they throw it in anyway. How many times do you need to see this shit to finally accept it for what it is. Tbf to Ian I'm not sure why he's having to defend himself here He agrees.

That looks shopped. -
We'll probably put a single bid in of about €12m and then never bid on anything again until the window closes after it's laughed off. EDIT: Ronny knows.

Reminds me of this post:

Aye he drew attention to it, I think at least Remy would have went if Foy had seen it originally though even without the theatrics. I'm surprised Johnson was sent off, he didn't actually do anything worthy of a red unless you tot up 2 yellows, one for his aggressive ness before the incident and another for being a massive tosser rolling about the floor.

Was there though? Surely nothing to be lost by appealing. Contact? Looked it to me, although my stream was effectively 4 pixels.
