I imagine it'd be a 'Polic walkover and get boring after the first 10 games or so.

 So bad yet so good

It's much worse. Worse than what? losing 4 games in 6 is worse than the season average of 18/37. 66% rather than 49% We lost 77% of games between 11/11 and 19/01 though. That was THE worst. See new post. It's pretty astounding Pardew survived that run of losing more than three quarters of games. If Ashley never sacked him then, I don't think he ever will. Neither do I now tbh, I still think there's the chance he just wants a man in charge for the Arsenal game as he has a potential £5m resting on it but as each day passes I feel less and less likely that he will be gone.

Ah actually I know what you mean, 25 point average. I worded it a bit dodgy, what I meant was those run of results wouldn't have looked out of tune anywhere else in the season. But from a statistical POV if you add the next 2 games on which in Pardew's opinion were good results it averages pretty close to what we have.

Said it before but I would absolutely love to go to a baseball/American football game, I think it would be a great day out. Aslo Rayloor looks like he's aged rapidly since I last saw him in that picture. Looks like a middle aged ice trucker.

I'm not saying we're good, but on the other hand you could argue that the manner of the Sunderland and Liverpool defeats made everything seem much worse than it was form-wise. Anyway, thank fuck it's over now! Regardless of scoreline we still lost 4 in 6 which really isn't out of tune with the rest of the season.

Aye, if you start taking points off of a manager tally his stats probably will look a bit shit like

Average positions are useless for the majority as players switch positions throughout a match, especially when substitutions are made. So players aren't "sitting on each other", they've just spent 45 minutes each around about the same area, more than likely at different times.

West Ham agree fee in region of £15m with Liverpool for Andy Carroll
Hanshithispantz replied to Pilko's topic in Football
I'd be distraught if we signed him for any more than £12m and even that's a few million too dear. -

Doesn't matter I've found it

How the fuck doesn't it work you loon? no idea. It just seems to miss out a load of posts, only 2 show up from 2011 when I search "Jol" in Brummie and Ketsys' posts. EDIT: I don't believe I'm typing "Jol fucking useless trifle" in like , I'll have another pop though just in case.

Aye that definitely wouldn't be accepted here, not sure about his transfer policies in full but I don't really think Fulham have much more of an option though, he also signed Keiran Richardson ffs

The way I do it is I type the persons' name next to the asterisk and then stick a few key words into the search box above. It literally never works.

Definitely working, found my favourite post of 2012 straight away. ah man

There's nothing wrong with that. Time passes, records look different as a result. This time last year, I reckon I could find posts from most people on here rating Pardew way more than they do now. Aye fair enough but I'm just not sure what's happened in 2 years at Fulham to change your view significantly, he's done a good job with mostly dross there if anything. He's still spent quite a bit and are below us in the table. He's made a profit of about £20m this season as far as I can tell?
-
I always think this It never picks up posts I know exist and have used key words that I know were within the post.

Who called him a negative long ball merchant? The fact is, on the evidence of the table at the moment, he's done worse than Pardew this year. And he's got a pretty decent squad, too. It was said a few days ago, I'm just dragging up old news tbh. And he hasn't done worse than Pardew comparatively, go and look at the Fulham squad, man, it's bottom 10 at best. Lambert has also done worse than Pardew this season fwiw, worse than Jol too, it means absolutely nothing.
-
He's had a poor season with a relatively poor Fulham side and to some he's suddenly become some kind of shite, negative long-ball merchant He's not in the top tier of managers obviously but both of their careers aren't really comparable, Jol has done well pretty much every where he's been.

Fair point. But... last season he was decent. The football was decent too. I know this season has been awful but none of us know which way next season would go under Pardew. We can't know. Since we can't know what kind of football we'll have until we're playing it, the only stuff that matters are the external factors like stability and relationships in the club. Wow, you found a post where the words Pardew and stability are used in the same sentence. Now point me to the part where said poster says he wants Pardew to stay. At the very most LA seems resigned to Pardew staying. You're just creating extra conditions in an attempt to weasel out of a couple of utterly moronic comments. I'm not going to sit and read old debates in the effort to keep satisfying these conditions, the fact I searched that out was bad enough As Dave said the Moyes argument has been used, as has the Alex Ferguson argument, if you have missed these then fair enough, they have definitely happened though. Of course those people probably didn't really want Pardew to stay like, they were just resigned to it. It's not a new condition. I said nobody has said they wanted Pardew to remain manager for reasons of stability right from the offset. You proved somebody used the word stability though, good on you. You strawmanned me to fuck to be fair You turned "[stability is] the only sane argument that anyone could possibly have for keeping Pardew [and] it has came from posters on here" into "[posters have] claimed they want him to remain our manager, [and] for stability reasons". I was a victim of being too hasty in my effort to be a clever cunt and looked over that it fits seamlessly with my original point though.
