  1. Ner, Sissoko who has created 3 legitimate goals in 4 games. Marv too.
  2. I cannot agree with that at all like. You think we're playing with enough pace? I think we've played well and have controlled the game, we're hardly playing a bunch of nobodies either, they're a decent side.
  3. Really loved that bit of pace from him (Mbiwa), he'll be vital for us if we play a high line, which I think Pardew likes to do when he's not in the paranoid nutcase half of his schizoid personality.
  4. This hasn't even been remotely true. This, such a ridiculous comment.
  5. Of course he was, I thought that was fairly universally accepted given how blindingly obvious it was. Yeah I think that's literally the opinion of everyone on the planet.
  6. Obertan has looked good in Europe to be fair to him, I'd rather him on the wing than Marveaux. Really cannot see the problem here.
  7. Pardew is a fucking froot loop like One minute he looks like he will never veer from a rigid 4-4-2, the next he's playing 3-5-1.
  8. Because people keep pinching them to craft duck nets? We have the same problem.
  9. The posts are there, but the nets almost never are. There might be several reasons: People steal them; there are less public pitches now than there used to be; there is simply less space in the UK than in the US; there are more teams in the UK, and so more uses of pitches, therefore more damage to nets, therefore more expensive to replace; it's an easy cut for UK councils to make; we are still subject to post-war rationing of football nets; we no longer have a fossil fuel industry to make the plastics for the twine. Take your pick. I have actually commented on this before driving round my town, as in the UK, Sunday teams would have to bring their own nets for every home game. Here, they seem to be in place. Are they simply less used in the US? Are they only found in more community-minded towns? Are Americans simply more community-minded? Does God protect the nets in the US? Who actually pays for them and puts them up here? I feel that I have over-thought this. Never any nets on basketball courts over here either and neebody plays that. But we'd still steal it for other uses, I imagine if you tied the bottom and strapped it to a large stick it would make a decent net for catching ducks for example. If I saw a baskeball net out in the open I certainly couldn't resist.
