You're talking absolute shite Cajun, sorry like He never played because of his defensive work rate combined with his tendency to lose the ball more than other players, Pardew said this pretty much every week at the time, that Ben Arfa needed to "learn how to play in the team" and bollocks like that. You can see the effects of it now as Ben Arfa, to the detriment of his own game, has spent large portions of matches this season in his own 1/3. Honestly man, not playing Ben Arfa for about 3 months was not a master-stroke in man-management from Pardew, it was fucking idiotic and arguably cost us a 3rd place finish.

This. They are fighting for a great position in the PL and there's no need to rest so many players with a week until the cup-final. It's about not taking any chances with injuries and suspensions. They haven't won the LC yet. Even with a injury or two they will beat Bradford. Not really.

Eh? But if that's how it is pronounced then surely the more annoying thing would be to pronounce it incorrectly? Would you expect an Italian to pronounce your name in the same way you would? It just sounds weird when people break the natural barrier of their dialect to pronounce a foreign name. Smoggies pronounce "A" as "air", Southerners pronounce "fast" as "farst", it's not exactly the same thing but it works the same way, the Italians just add a weird "A" sound to some things. I don't think I would ever be annoyed at a foreigner pronouncing my name wrong, I would find it awkward if he was deliberately breaking the flow of his sentences to speak it in the correct manner though.

I think his long passing is massively exaggerated tbh, he can pick out a cross field ball no problem an shouldn't be encouraged not to do so. He does have a habit or trying the over ambitious at times but I don't think it's his long passing in general that's the problem.
