I love Demba but it's pretty clear that him and Cisse is never going to work, they both need to be in the limelight. As a team Remy-Cisse-Hatem looks better than Cisse-Ba-Hatem. I'd still prefer Demba over Remy, like.

I agree with Inochi like, although if an immediate and amicable switch could happen tomorrow I'd take it. As much as I know Pardew is a capable manager it's abundantly clear that he'll never be a top one.

I wouldn't exactly be opposed to signing Downing for the right price, I would just expect him to be at least 2nd choice which leaves him in a similar place to that he's in at Liverpool.

Anything is an upgrade on our left side, that doesn't mean we literally need to sign anything, we need genuine quality (Ba, Cisse, Ben Arfa quality).

I felt the same with Pardew on the Tiote (against Sunderland) and Coloccini (against Liverpool) dismissals. Playing the nice guy is admirable but it gets you no where with the FA, which seems pretty backward from an organisation obsessed with respect.

Suarez is the best player in the PL at the moment. Without him Liverpool would be in a relegation battle. I don't care how much of a cunt he is, but Suarez has been class this season and the game against us was only an example of how good he has been. I don't disagree, he needs to keep this up for a lot longer to be classed as better than Ibra though. There's a fair few players in the league more deserving of that kind of praise.

Tbf, Ronaldo being able to cannon one in from 40 yards is all technique. I agree with the rest like, they're brilliant players for different reasons.

Because Ronaldo isn't a playmaker, he's a wide forward, and one of the greatest wide forwards we've ever seen at that. Messi is just a freak, he can play any attacking role on the pitch and still be the best by a distance.

Because our defence is all over the place. Every time a team comes forward we look like conceding and Krul has probably saved 5-6 1 on 1s the past month. Coloccini is part of the defence ergo he could be classed as part of the problem, but until we sort it out and tighten up at the back nobody is going to come out looking good.

Our passing was clearly more effective against Fulham than it has been in previous games, even when Shola came on.

you appear to be the only one not getting it but anyway, carry on What am I not getting? Your absurd logic that goalscorers aren't proper footballers or something? Even if we were to wrongly pigeon hole Ronaldo as being an out and out poacher and nothing else, his goalscoring record is one of the best ever, which I think sort of qualifies him to be justified as a phenomenal footballer.
