Never understood the hype about Amsterdam tbh, other than for drugs, prossies and if you some dutch hardcore radgie. It's a good city as it has a clear identity, but the other parts of Holland are a lot better imo. I've been 3 times, and each time has only been for the caffes and the ferry there and back.

Fine, its all clear in my head now what happened, it makes absolutely no sense (like the original report) but the and clears it all up for me. Why would it make the report if a few fans were drunk and aggressive? Why is it even worth talking about at all? There's no doubt at all that people would have been pissed at the ground, it's pretty likely that some would have been 'aggressive' in some manner, but it isn't relevant at all unless these drunken people were to blame for the crush, and they obviously weren't.

I think placing the blame on anyone (without evidence of them doing something monumentally stupid, ie the coroner) is massively harsh like, I doubt anybody who wasn't at the front of the crush really knew what was going on, and nobody expected it or was prepared for it. Poor policing/fans trying to get in without tickets/both, whatever it was it just doesn't really sit right with me to place the blame of 96 deaths on their shoulders. The cover up is just sickening though, and anyone involved should obviously be sentenced to whatever is deemed necessarily.

That's the thing like, we need to stop being so cautious and actually try out a system for an extended period of time that can get the best out of our flair players, not just in fits and starts. We may benefit in the long run. The rigid 4-4-2 would have won us more points than it lost last season due to the first 11 games or so, and there's still a time to use it certainly, but we'll not get the best out of our offensive players in the majority of games when we do.

I'd play a diamond or 4-3-3 against Everton like, I honestly don't know why everyone's shitting themselves but Pardew will be too, meaning we'll play conservative and probably get raped for 45 minutes before he sorts it out. They're the favourites for the game without a doubt but people looking into their start (and Man U result mainly) too much. The keeper is a massive worry but we have the firepower to cancel it out if we're on form.

What a difference Krul makes man, there's nowt wrong with those sides except for the keeper. We've certainly fielded worse sides in the past year and came out with a good result and performance.
