  1. No problem. Thanks for giving me something to read every day.

http://www.readytogo.net/smb/threads/the-lad-hurt-last-night-on-a19.1180059/ They've a new thread on it. Seems he wasn't drunk just ill. Hope he gets well soon.
  3. Ba let us down today. I know he was on his own up there, but he needs to win some headers. If he wants to be in the center he has to be able to bring the ball down or knock it on for someone. When Shola came off, I think everyone could tell; we weren't going to have any more retention of the ball to relieve the pressure. It's always gutting to drop points this way. But, at least we put in a performance today. I couldn't've said that about many matches this season. Progress.

    Kick It Out

Seconded. He always seems to have sensible opinions.
  5. Is there an app for this? I cant get on it while at work....
  6. Just joined up. Team name: Titanic Deckchairs. Now to find something to put the rest of the £5 deposit on.

    Ryan Taylor

Ryan Tayor on the right of our midfield makes us look more balanced and ultimatly more composed and successful as a unit. His positional awareness is always fairly sound. So what shade of sheep does that make me?

    Sunderland...

sessegnon looked class on motd to be fair.
  9. Doubt you'll see it again, he chucked it into the crowd. But maybe there's more than one...
  10. Nice Interview. I like his workrate recently. Initially I thought he was lazy, but he seems to track back a lot more than he used to. I'm happy for him to be in the squad, but I'd prefer strong and intelligent over fast and tricky for the wings.
  11. At first I was thinking: "here we go again..." But actually. This isn't the most mad suggestion people have been putting in this thread. You would effectively have 5 at the back when defending and you'd have all 3 of our most attacking players on the pitch. So long as the wide men are disciplined and HBA drifts to either wing there's no reason why it couldn't be effective. There's no way we'll see it at the weekend though. It's the sort of thing you'd have to commit to for a whole season, and even then you'd expect results to drop before seeing any benefits. I know someone (I think simpson on twitter?) said they'd been training with 5 at the back, but I'd be very surprised if there's a change from 4-4-2; players need consistency to perform.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

Theres something wrong when shola comes on for you and the team is vastly improved. Expected more from him today. I know it's been said before, but his reluctance to play the ball is getting maddening. Im sure he will improve once hes got a goal.
  13. We let them slow the game down too much. Was frustrating as hell watching them lazily pass it around for ages before the inevitable launch up to sturridge.
