  1. Saw this and found it interesting, do think that switching our wingers to be non inverted might’ve helped yesterday.
  2. Fuck, wish the commentary team could hide their joy like, the wankers
  3. Think Schar needs to start using a shorter club, been a few overhit switches so far
  4. Neville there, Liverpool are going to have to slow the game down. How much slower can they make it FFS ??
  5. It looked good but it was horrifically made, I think ASICS ended up offering refunds or replacements to everyone who bought it if my memory serves me right. I was but a nipper back then after all, but ended up with a replacement McEwans lager home shirt instead after it destroyed itself by clicks
  6. I mean I know this stuff is all relative, but I can’t imagine owning a Blyth based taxi business is really that lucrative in the grand scheme of things. He’s hardly Elon musk like ??‍♂️
  7. No self respecting Geordie should be getting Edison and Swann mixed up like. Edison’s light bulbs were produced under licence
  8. I’ve been all over the world when I was in the RAF and like the song goes, us Geordies do indeed get everywhere. You’d be surprised how much global reach we already have.
  9. ‘What had we recently won at the time of them initially signing the deal with us in 95? They know how much stuff they can sell to us when the fan base is engaged, regardless of our trophy haul or lack of.
  10. Even better without everyone's "favourite vegetarian gammon"
  11. That’s what my wife who is completely disinterested in football (And from Moray so no skin in the NUFC game, other than being daft enough to marry me), keeps reiterating. The muppet never realised what he had and how it could’ve been a goldmine, with even a modicum of interest and fan engagement during his tenure. look at the interest in retro adidas kits, and to think he apparently was an expert in that field, the useless fat w⚓️
  12. Scared of Gordon? They’re deliberately targeting getting Walker one on one against him. But I guess that wouldn’t fit the Miggy scapegoat agenda ??
  13. Given his reluctance to get involved they might have more luck, trying to get the Honey Monster back on board. Would reignite the cereal based fewm on Wearyside too
  14. Adidas do lots of official retro stuff for Arsenal and Man Utd, including period correct sponsors see this for instance https://www.adidas.co.uk/manchester-united-90-goalkeeper-jersey/HP0449.html
  15. You’re both right as it was the home kit for both of those seasons, the away kit changed from the maroon and blue hoops, to the denim look one
  16. A proper modern Adidas reinterpretation of the Grandad collar shirt, would make both the club and Adidas an absolute killing like
  17. I know some will consider this whataboutery too, but never mind Assange. Do many on here even have an inkling of doubt, about the official story of how Jeffrey Epstein managed to kill himself in prison. If so and you’re not as equally enraged about that, as you are Khassoghi, then you’re effectively angry that the Saudi's aren’t as slick at committing extra-judicial murder as the US ??‍♂️
  18. the way things are heading, post the repeal of Wade vs Roe I wouldn’t get too tight on the particular viewpoint
  19. Bit rich of the CIA to point the finger at anybody regarding extra-judicial murder too, no?
  20. The True Geordie should buy it off him, given he owes him his subsequent career (As diminished and tainted as it’s become recently)
  21. But what happens if they have a good year and qualify for Europe? Are they then in breach? Do they have to alter their squad?
  22. Did he not say in an interview a while back that he asked SBR to bring him to Newcastle when Bobby took over, but said he already had Gary Speed. Could just be because we are SBR's team in the same way Jose has always spoken well of the support, if not the team.
  23. I still fully expect to get beat on Saturday, but I’d suggest we'll know if we have improved if we can actually lay a glove on them. For all I didn’t think we played too badly at their place last year, we never really looked like hurting them. I have a strong hope that this time might be different.
  24. Fair enough I had it in my head it was him that replaced Chilwell yesterday, guess I got mixed up with James
  25. I mean they have Malo, Cucurella and Chilwell so it’s not like they’re short at left back, and as others have said Maatsen can play there too
