Yes but that assumes you don’t sell anyone and that our revenue stalls. People talk about a lot of easy PSR wins, such as training ground sponsor, stadium naming rights etc. these will be phased in over time to allow the revenue to continue to grow organically. Rather than shooting our wad all in one go so to speak. The honest reality is going to be more expensive tickets etc too, especially for folks coming to the end of the Ashley price freeze. Additionally, actually continuing to progress in cup competitions means increased revenue from additional games. Taking ownership of retail and refreshments in the stadium, rather than the undervalued contracted out situations we had before and the fan zone; will all see our revenue start to creep up.

I mean I could go and tweet that I’m having a threesome with Karen Gillan and Gillian Anderson tonight. It sadly doesn’t mean there’s any truth to it. Basically I’m just saying I’d wait until there’s multiple sources with a better track record of getting things right in relation to Newcastle, before I shat the bed (Preferably with Karen Gillan and Gillian Anderson in it). Also known as wait for the harbinger of doom Craig Mope to confirm it first.

Because it’s Twitter and he'll probably release another one tomorrow with Joelinton expected back in three weeks? ??♂️

I see everybody losing their shit over that article regarding Joelinton out for the season. Is that guy legit? Never seen him tweet anything about Newcastle before, so is there substance to it? Or is it the usual Neurotics Online case of presume the worst even when no evidence exists?

If their fees weren’t amortised across the total duration of their contracts yes. But Hall will be £6M a year for FFP calculations

I think it’s been mentioned that we are also taking back control of retail at the same time as binning off Castore. If they play their cards right and actually stock the club shop with stuff to buy, unlike Castore, that could also end up being another increased source of income too. -
It was a sickener, particularly as we all knew the money was just going to disappear into the aether and not be reinvested.

Yeah but Ashley would sell his Granny if there was a 20% profit in it for him

To allow us to spend £100M for FFP purposes, given a £60m+ profit on someone like Bruno could conceivably allow us to buy 6 players at £50M each amortised over 5 years, providing we keep growing our commercial income. It’s convoluted and I wish as a football fan I didn’t have to try and get my head around this bollocks. -

They’re being investigated for breaches during Abramovich's time found by Boehley's lot when going through the books. Given they’ve found wrongdoing themselves and have fessed up, surely they have to receive some sort of punishment? They might be pushing for leniency given change in ownership and honesty, but given the recent punish, ents doled out, they can’t get off Scot free. Surely they're screwed in general soon too, if they don’t get back into the CL soon too I’d imagine -

Because their turnover is enough to service that debt comfortably. It does seem to go against the publicly explained reasons for ffp though and also allowed Burnley to be bought with their own money before they were relegated too, if memory serves me right. -
Who's chief sports writer is the much maligned and ridiculed Lee Ryder. I mean the joke when I lived back in the North East was you couldn't wipe your arse with the Chronicle, as more shite would come off the paper. Has it ever been terribly accurate other than when the club deliberately fed them stuff?

England’s Dan Burn named Player of the Season 24/25
Ghandis Flip-Flop replied to Rich's topic in Football
Not necessarily, that may be due to the fact we feel we can still get a fee for him. This isn’t Ashley’s Newcastle anymore. We will be renewing contracts to protect the club now, rather than because we can’t be arsed to sign new players. i also wouldn’t be surprised if Burn is actually an a relative pittance given the coming home emotional pull. -

Depends on what you mean by challenging for Conference places. If we are 10th looking for a run at the end of next season yes. But if we are in touching distance of top four most of the season and drop back into 6/7th, then I’d argue we are par for being 3 full seasons into a project. I think people need to temper expectations, I mean did yesterday not serve as a massive illustration of how far behind City we actually are as a club? It will take time to cement our position and there will be further bumps in the road. Especially given the deliberate road blocks ffp/fmv will cause us at times. -

Willock and Joelinton don’t exist now then? ??♂️ -
Think the likes of Targett, Lascelles and Krafth will be moved on this summer as a way of freeing up FFP funds, which will see his path to first team minute look less contested. I wouldn’t be surprised to see a similar renaissance for this lad as we've seen for Gordon this year. It takes time for many to get up to speed with Howe's system
-
It was but I can remember always crediting Pedro with that desire to atone for his mistake, as a big reason I loved the ugly fucker as a player. There are plenty of players with Bruno's talent who don’t possess that attitude and desire to get back and make up for a mistake.
-
Probably missed the most critical one in Pope. Been why our defence has been sitting deeper and giving opposition No10’s all that space to operate in
-
Is everybody suddenly forgetting the very deliberate talk by Ashworth around club specific release clauses? I would not be surprised if that clause does not apply to fellow PL clubs, despite them being amongst the few clubs who could afford him. I would imagine if we sell to another PL club it will be for a much larger fee than his rumoured release clause.
-
What is Chelsea's position going to be if they fail to qualify for the CL again? Man Utd are also already butting up against FFP, hence why they had to loan Arambat. They’re either going to have to change the rules again to suit them, or end up hoisted on their own petards
-
That’s one of my issues with it, especially given how Chelsea and Man Utd continue to inflate the transfer market. Over three seasons you can now lose a Moises Caicedo. It’s not just at the top end of the market either. Chelsea and City have the whole foreign talented youth segment tied up too.
-
We signed Speed that summer, no?
-
And Coutinho, Sterling and Suarez. Every club has had to trade players to some extent. The thing we need to get right is who we sell too IMHO. Selling Bruno to PSG or Real, would sting a hell of a lot less than to a fellow PL team

Is he returning from Belgium? Im sure I saw tweets from him rubbishing the claims before Christmas

I find it odd that he has an issue with the trans community using men’s toilets, given that the cigar eye stubbing, wife head kicking wanker, has no balls and a tiny little choad no bigger than a clit himself ??♂️
