I'm pretty sure he admitted he had a rough time at Spurs on True Geordies podcast then learnt a lot and improved while he was at Madrid. I was happy when we got him but didn't realise he was this good tbh. Provides so much quality going forward and is a real leader
-
fit as fuck too

Constantly rotates between Wilson, Bruno, Big Jo, Miggy, Tripps, Schar and Botman really. If I had to pick one I'd probably go with Tripps overall, class act and a real leader. There isn't really anyone in the squad that's unlikable at the moment though, which is brilliant

We're absolutely relentless

Great finish for his goal. Real quality #9

That post match interview was so lovely. Great to see him so happy
-
He's unbelievable

That was beautiful to watch. Osimhen and Kvaradona were very impressive
-
West Ham's disallowed goal today was an absolute joke too
-
Think his touch before the shot got the ball too much in between his feet, but still got to be finishing it. Agree, he had a good game overall though. Good to see that didn't get his head down and there were some really nice bits of link up play. He'll thrive when Bruno's back in the team

Deserved the win, just missed a few chances and a godawful decision from the ref cost us the win. Still plenty of positives to take given we were missing some key players
-
Got better towards the end of the half, we should have gone in ahead though
-
After the ball was cleared from the cross it should have been full time anyway, so shouldn't have mattered
-
Outstanding debut. Took his goal really well and the second one would have been ridiculous, had he been onside. We've got some player here
-
That's absolutely sickening. Great performance though
-
He's started the season well but it's painful how one footed he is
-
Willock was poor today, Longstaff is just plain bad. Normally he'd be third choice for that position though
-
Fairly quiet game overall but that goal... fuck me
-
Decent result given we were missing a few key players. Thought we had the better of the game but just lacked a bit of quality for the most part until an unreal bit of quality from ASM. The technique to finish a dropping ball like that is insane. Nice little cameo from Anderson when he came on, think he could become a real player
-
We were the better side for the majority of that half, can definitely still get something out of this. Willock's been well off the pace though, get Anderson on if he doesn't pull his finger out
