  1. Assuming he signs I think Howe and his coaching could work wonders for him, would fit that pressing style.
  2. I’ll let Howe decide on whether he thinks a player is a fit for the team ?
  3. Things will really hot up this week, think the squad could really do with a couple of incomings to freshen things up.
  4. I think he’ll be fine but judging by Howe’s quotes he’s missed large chunks of training so no wonder he’s looked a bit off. I’m sure Howe will manage his minutes appropriately and he’ll get that sharpness back in the coming weeks.
  5. I think another option to play that side would really help us someone who does something a bit different to Miggy (and to challenge for that position)
  6. Still seems like a bizarre move him going to City other than £££. I just don’t see it happening for him there. I think he would’ve been the perfect signing for us injury concerns aside.
  7. Rice would be an amazing addition but he’ll go to Arsenal or Chelsea in the summer imo
  8. We were solid as anything against yesterday but just couldn’t find the breakthrough. I actually thought Palace defended pretty well to be fair. We didn’t miss any sitters but we’ve become pretty predictable in certain aspects of play and we just aren’t being clinical enough in front of goal. Joelinton and Longstaff are never going to score loads and Miggy looks to have gone off the boil slightly. Wilson still looks like he’s still struggling for form too. We lack another option to Miggy on the right and another quality midfielder alongside Bruno who can open something up out of nowhere or hit one from outside the box. Keiron Dyer is a berk but was spot on about the low block comments. It’s bloody hard to play against and you need top class players a la City. The way we find ways to play against the low block home and away will probably define much of the second half of the season. Changing things up (getting Saint involved more or trying Isak wide left of a 3) and some signings will make a big difference but it just shows how we’re evolving so quickly as a side that teams are playing like this against us. My only criticism of Howe would be that he could’ve changed it a bit earlier yesterday. 15 unbeaten though, onwards and upwards ?
  9. Might see it against West Ham maybe. They’ll almost certainly play with a low block and hope to hit us on the counter or nick one with Ings.
  10. Yeah agreed, need to mix it up a bit
  11. Looked disappointed when he came off which is standard but does look like he’s struggling a bit. Looks a yard short of pace currently but he’s getting crowded out by a load of defenders too to be fair.
  12. Everton are in major major trouble. West Ham are shit but at least have the players to get themselves out of it.
  13. Yeah he hasn’t been great today
  14. He’s also been playing through injury this season ffs ?
  15. I would hazard a guess that working within an organisation as to say in the local Tesco might mean you’re closer to information ? Ive no idea whether there’s anything in, probably not, thought it warranted mentioning ?‍♂️
  16. Who knows, could be a whole host of reasons but I’m only regurgitating what someone else has said. Might well be bollocks but he didn’t seem like a bullshitter ?‍♂️
  17. Make of it what you will but one of my patients I saw this morning knows one of the groundsmen who has said Maddison a done deal in summer. Don’t all have a go at once I’m just relaying info, may be bollocks ?
  18. His one weakness is against speed and a turn of pace and you feel it’ll catch him out eventually even with good positional sense
  19. They’re also trying to stay up so he amazed if they let him go this month
