  1. We clearly tried but it’s a real shame we weren’t able to upgrade RW in the summer as we’re crying out for that to be sorted. Moving Isak there when Wilson is back seems like the best option in the short term at least because he can play anywhere across a front 3. Miggy won’t score, doesn’t cross the ball and annoyingly yesterday wasn’t taking people on = what’s the point?
  2. I think the break helps us to reset things and refocus. We need to get Wilson back fit and I’d hope for something like Isak, Wilson and Anderson v Fulham if ASM is out (he’ll probs still go with Miggy however)
  3. All solid points and I think this was always going to be a transitional season. With everyone fit we’ll give anyone a game but injuries continue to highlight our lack of depth and the hangover from Ashley. I also think Howe has used these first two windows to really focus on solidifying the defence and the next two windows will be used to fully address the attacking 3rd (new right winger, attacking midfielder etc)
  4. Get him in the side, offers something different and far more than Fraser and Almiron.
  5. A lot of our players looked sluggish and flat yesterday. Schar and Targett for example were hitting lazy passes at times too. Bruno’s lack of fitness showed too. Our issue is still that we aren’t clinical enough in front of goal. Aside from Isak, Wilson and maybe ASM other players don’t score enough goals.
  6. Both great points above, we really struggle to break teams down. I think we’ll see another attacker come in in Jan and by the start of next season the likes of Fraser, Miggy et al won’t be getting a sniff nor will we be relying on Willock as a starter. A creative attacking midfielder and right wing genuine threat would make all the difference but you can’t change everything straight away.
  7. He really was dreadful yesterday. That strike in the first half was decent but he had a great chance in the second half he should’ve buried. His passing was woeful.
  8. It was flatter than the way flat earthers see the planet ?

    Joe Willock

He just doesn’t impose himself on games at all. He looks good when everyone is playing well but he’s not enough of a difference maker in his own right. He’s made runs into the box previously but you don’t see that at the moment.
  10. Absolutely zero creativity for him from the flanks from Miggy and Fraser and midfield wasn’t much better. I think he suffered from our lack of movement and without ASM we created no space so the CBs just crowded him out.

    Joe Willock

He isn’t good enough at the end of the day and will be a squad player at best next season. The worry is he just doesn’t look like scoring at all at the moment either.
  12. He’s shite like I’m sorry. If I have to endure him cutting back all the time again
  13. Beggars belief given the shite he spouted, the way we played, our record under him and his cosying up to far Mike that nufc fans were targeted by the media and barely anyone rightly called him out. The FOSB was in full swing and I doubt you’ll see anyone calling him into question at West Brom. Rinse and repeat, wankers.
  14. I got one last season, haven’t received one this season not that I’m arsed really
  15. Yes you would think at least ASM and Bruno would definitely be back. Wilson might be in with a chance too though I’m expecting Fulham more likely to give him the extra two weeks.
  16. Im In the Leazes for the first time in years for this, looking forward to it.
  17. Be very disappointed if this is cancelled I have a ticket in the Leazes too. I think we’ll have enough to beat them even with absences but there’s a chance all three key players could be back.
  18. You would imagine if there’s any doubt they'll wait til Fulham with the extra two weeks. Be great to see him back.
  19. Particularly with the international break coming up giving more recovery time. You like to think Wilson is back for Bournemouth though
  20. Our problem yesterday was if Shelvey, Bruno and Joelinton start for example you can then bring on Willock, Longstaff etc. As it was the same midfield 3 started and looked leggy second half and we didn’t have the options off the bench. Even if only Bruno was back yesterday we win that That said still had the chances to win and VAR fucked us. If any side is missing their 3 main attacking players it’s going to play a massive part. Hopefully get the lads back for West Ham/Bournemouth. Frustrating but perspective needed p.s had someone sat next to me in Gallowgate who complained about everything. Apparently Isak and Botman are now shite ??
  21. Some of the decisions which are being made with VAR at the moment are embarrassing. Surely can’t go on ffs
