If someone had said to us at the start of the season we’d be sitting 3rd on gd with two home games coming up and a chance to wrap up top four people would’ve probably laughed ? Brighton is the key one I feel, what a massive game that is.
-
What does that actually mean? ?
-
My only concern is the players looked a bit jaded today, some looked off form and maybe we have a good few who lack experience to close out this situation. Maybe the pressure is getting to them a bit but hardly a surprise. Brighton is the key, it will be tough but I think with the home crowd we’ll beat them then beat Leicester to secure top four.

I think that’s a bit unfair really. As shit as Leeds have been they are literally fighting to stay up with a little bounce from Fat Sham. Granted we could’ve been better but I think a few underestimated how tough a match it was. Still in our hands.

Miggy has been average imo, Saint will scare the shit out of Leeds. Gordon to also up the intensity

Total self destruction

Definitely carrying a knock

Yeah I think both Howe and Fat Sham know the importance of the first goal in this one. -

Yeah i agree I think this game Isak needs to go back to CF with Wilson an option from the bench again. Isak will torture that defence. Murphy, Almiron, Gordon as options for, the start and probs Saint coming on for last 30. -

Same here, I took Arsenal defeat fully on the chin, but seeing that fat cunt grinning and gloating if they win would be too much -
Spot on.

I think I hate Fat Sham more than anyone else. Fat narcissist who got caught red handed due to his greed and ruined his England manager chance. Dinosaur football manager, massive self-inflated ego and complete cunt. -

Exactly this, they need to win, a draw is no good -

We should have it wrapped up in the next 3 games really. A win at Leeds and we’re almost home and hosed. 6 points will probably do it bar a massive gf swing and I’d bet on us winning two of the next 3 and probably drawing one as mentioned above.

Agreed

I watched Caicedo against Man U and the combination of his pace and covering ability would be ideal for us or a player of that ilk anyway.
-
Definitely need more back in that back line, Arsenal made it look pedestrian at times yesterday. It’s still an awesome Unit but definitely vulnerable to speed.
-
I think this is important, he’s definitely playing below 100% because of the ankle
-
In terms of area of the team that needs upgrading keeper is almost bottom of the list imo.

It’s all fine margins, before the first goal we were all over them and they were rocking but we didn’t get that first goal (Willock should do better, Murphy a bit unlucky, close call for penalty). They ultimately took their chances and ironically did to us what we did to them at the Emirates in terms of time wasting, winding our players up etc and I think we lost a bit of focus. It’s funny that they did that given how much they complained about what we did back in Jan. I’m not bothered they did what they did but you can’t have it both ways ffs given the song and dance they made about things back in Jan. We’ve come a long way and the team and squad still has miles to go. Yesterday probably shows up where we need to improve in the team too if we are going to win games like these and beat the likes of Liverpool or Arsenal at home and away (LB, number 6 type player, new winger et al). I think the team will learn a lot from today. Just look at how Arsenal have developed since last season.
