  1. Who cares where he ends up. I'm sure he's looking to impress in the premiership again with anyone before aiming to move onto a bigger club again.
  2. If you've got a clown in charge of closing deals then we're always going to be in this position
  3. Sissoko will no doubt be used to fund any transfers which come in
  4. What's amusing is that the fuckwits at the club believed some ramblings from Ashley in front of the camera could reverse 8 years of mistrust and cockups and fans would flock to renew season tickets. You can almost imagine them thinking "Christ it looks like we might actually have to buy some players now"
  5. I haven't been paying much attention to goings on but clearly I'm not missing anything Charnley being exposed for the incompetent flop that he is.

    John Carver

Another in the long line of calamitous decisions made by Ashley and the board
  7. Come on Lee, you're already seen as a complete cunt, need to up your game son!
  8. They'll never stump up the cash needed to make really excellent, proven signings. They haven't before and I don't see it changing.
  9. What the cunts in charge need to realise is that to buy players who have to meet the value of the player and pay them a decent salary. This seems to have escaped them the past 5-6 years
  10. Why would you bother signing up now? At the very least you'd wait to see actual signings coming in and if that meant a season of picking and choosing one off games then fine. Committing fully at this stage just seems foolish to me.

I read some of that this morning. Bishops PR machine seems to have gone into overdrive. Sounds like a load of old tosh to me and there's been complete bollocks for years for a few words to suddenly signify real change.
  12. I'm not a season ticket holder but there's going to have to be concrete evidence of major squad strengthening and cup ambition for me to even consider going back for even the odd match anytime soon. Currently I'm still firmly in the not arsed camp.
  13. The shackles won't ever be fully removed by Ashley I don't think. Sure they'll bring some players in but they'll always step back from paying the going rate rather than identifying an ideal player to fit a position and then going for them. Did I read in the chronicale some nonsense about bringing in 6 new first teamers? Surely it's 6 new starters plus solid squad additions.
  14. No fucking chance this is happening, it'll take too much of a sea change in policy. It's McClaren all the way for Ashley.
  15. He's bang average but occasionally shows flashes. As a squad player to come in as 3rd choice no worries but the problem is given our lack of quality and numbers he's too often near the first team. They won't be paying him much and in general I'm non-plus either way really.
  16. Fuck all will happen because he's simply too concerned with ££££ meaning he won't part with cash. For an absolute fraction of the barrels of cash coming in he could sign a decent, solid manager who could bring players on and increase their value for future profit in the process. While simultaneously get the team well drilled, playing good football. As it is he'll ALWAYS a look for the cheap /numpty option like Carver. Even in the situation where he might consider bringing a proper appointment in, the idea of reporting to an idiotit, clueless fool like Charnley and having no say in transfers will put any right minded individual off. Spend some proper money on players, bring in a proper manager and give them their own back room staff and say on transfers................There's just too much that needs to change for anything truly progressive to happen.

    John Carver

This cunt is still going to be here next season isn't he ffs
  18. Thing is he could well appoint Carver on a permanent basis which will make a complete mockery of everything he's said.
  19. We definitely won't win today, we may scrape a draw absolute best, more likely a 1-0 loss. So it'll come down to what happens at Hull.

I don't think I've ever seen someone so far out of their depth both from a technical/tactical aspect and a complete inability communication wise to motivate players and/or alienate players. Takes some doing, fuck me
  21. It'll come down to the Hull match as we are clearly incapable of winning a match. I'd imagine I'll still feel a bit gutted if we go down next weekend but to be honest I feel so far removed from NUFC and football in general right now that I'm all a bit numb/apathetic to it. The club serves no purpose at the moment so there's not much point being in the premier league anyway. Also the way the club is being run you feel we'd probably go down next season anyway. Had the club brought in a manager even in a temporary basis with even the vaguest if clues in january we wouldn't be anywhere near this situation. We might scrape a point next weekend but I can honestly just see another defeat.
  22. I'm almost if the opinion that if we don't show some fight and go and get a result here given they're down already and Hulls complete fuck up against Burnley last weekend giving us an extra chance, then we deserve to go down.
