    John Carver

We lose on sat and with no players coming in we can all start to get very twitchy. You can see the arse falling out of this season very quickly relegation wise.
  2. They were talking about us this morning on Sunday Supplement, club lost it's Soul etc. Atleast it's being talked about regularly now.
  3. Spot on , the more the merrier negative press wise. Charnley has lost the comfort blanket of Pardew taking all the flak and shots. You make the bed you lie in as far as I'm considered, about time he started to field some questions and be targeted over the absolute hollow shell of a club we've become.
  4. Be ideal if we could get shot of him but issue remains that the money probably wouldn't be re-invested (as always).
  5. I'm sure he's just doing his job. I just pay absolutely no interest to anything statements wise which comes out of the club. It amounts to the same as the nearest pile of dogshit from my flat.
  6. It's a brilliantly written article (I finally went back a few pages and saw it!). It's so refreshing to read articles like that when you hear so much utter rubbish from most journalists and 'pundits'. Kind of sums up a lot of my feelings too. It doesn't even feel strange that I don't want to go anymore while Ashley is there.
  7. Printed on the inside cover of the Home Alone 2 VHS sleeve  Fair play. I'm not registered online with the Times that's all
  8. How can I see this latest Culkin article?
  9. That was the time before, the last time was when they closed the singing section because they were calling him names. Yeah to read that Cameron article saying he's not bothered about things said about him Sack Pardew banners confiscated etc
  10. Well he's successfully killed off my interest in the club
  11. The only person to tell it like it is is Stuart Robson who absolutely nailed it.
  12. I sympathise with season ticket holders. It must be a really hard decision to walk away but when you look at what's going on, the whole thing is just a pointless exercise now. A club which actively chooses NOT to try to win a cup or finish as high up the league as realistically possible. Complete sham organisation. Fuck em.
  13. The key to keeping your blood pressure down is ignore most stuff in the press. The evidence of how bad he was here was there for all to see, we know it, we saw it. It just seems most of the press seemed to miss it. There's some absolute dogshit that comes out from the likes of Collymore, Savage, Merson et al. I just ignore it so I don't go bananas As with the above comment I'm also just glad he's gone and it doesn't bother me too much what happens now. Be funny to see him fuck up though obviously.
  14. Exactly, he's always done "relatively" well when he first arrives at clubs. What Danny Mills said about Pearce, that his impact quickly wears off once the players figure him out can be applied to Pardew. The same will happen at Palce eventually but he may do enough with the new manager syndrome to keep them up this year. Things will eventually go stale with the same old dross.
  15. It does make you wonder doesn't it Dear oh dear
  16. Well that was awful wasn't it. Pen or no pen I thought we were extremely poor, both defensive errors and zero clinical finishing. Maybe the irony of this result is it will force them to push ahead and get a manager in because we'll start to nosedive under this current moron.
  17. Hes obviosuly not getting the job FFS where is this s*** coming from. He even said they have not really spoke to him about it. I agree mainly but wouldn't it just be typical of us to appoint him, even just until the summer when we have the 2 weeks to come to terms with it. Slim when have you believed ANYTHING coming out of the club anyway? Apologies if the post was deemed overly negative but I'm only basing an opinion on 'years' of ridiculous decisions made by Ashley which centre around ££££
  18. It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if Carver got the job. We've got just about enough points to not have to worry about relegation (famous last words), it's a cheap option and so they'll probably give it to him. You have to remember this is a club which now doesn't want to achieve anything :-/
  19. Surely it's better for a manager who is able to come in now, to come in and have a look at players etc. Can only be beneficial for them and Christ it would be a breath of fresh air for the fans too.
  20. Great call by LFEE. Big Geordie puts in some wicked calls too. Howey is comically woeful. I don't listen as much as I used to, I get too wound up.
  21. Ravel Morrison, No thanks, dear oh dear
