i'd guess his competition comes more from players shoting at him than with other keepers. i'm not too sure this competition for places is all it's cracked up to be. It has to, people respond to pressure and there is none on him at the minute. Not that I'm criticising him I think he's superb, just that he would benefit from some competition.

No pressure on his place at all though, must be shit in training having no one that's anywhere near you in ability to compete with.
