Lad 2 is probably a person for a coffee rather than a pint. Lad 2 is probs me? Different minds work different ways.
-
Can’t speak for the players but highly doubt they’d want to leave after one season of no Europe. Two or three maybe, but they joined us knowing we’re a project and as the board have stated, we’re a year ahead of schedule.
-
Always had a weird feeling he’ll be back on loan in Jan. Even if it is super sub duties.
-
The whole reign of Pardew people were hypnotised. I was myself an bit after that season we finished 5th. Even recently where people are saying he wasn’t that bad. This is the man who played Shola Ameobi on the right wing ahead of Ben Arfa? On another note, the failure of the previous regime to properly invest in the academy is really being highlighted by the injury crisis. Howe has only had Miley who is decent.
-
I’d say the injuries are bad luck. The bad performances are simply due to the lads being knackered too imo.
-
From memory Luton haven’t got a great record of holding their leads so we’ve still got a chance, even if we do look fucked.
-
Dug out an old signed shirt of his the other day? paid £80 for it 20 years ago.. any takers cost price?
-
Rst should be next to his name, lad is knackered.
-
I do agree, but we were against 10 men for most of the game.. he had a lot more freedom than usual.
-
Was well hoping this would of come in
-
Says a lot when Bruno was absolutely over the moon for him too.
-
Man U always seem to get a result a little unexpectedly in games against those in the title race.. think it was Arsenal last year they beat 3-1?
-
My biggest hate on matchday is the music. Why the fuck is this donut playing Last Christmas like we’re in some kind of Christmas rom-com.
-
Not sure but I nearly did? buzzing for the wee lad.. every fans dream that at 17.
-
He hasn’t been right for weeks. We’re pushing players back earlier than we’d want to, but only out of necessity.
-
I honestly thought I’d be a bit more bothered about being out, but I’m not actually that fussed. We’ve come so far in 2 short years that it’s an achievement just to be there. Could have been a few tactical tweaks which might have helped us, but for the most part we’ve gave a great account of ourselves and us being out is only really down to bad luck. Only way I would have been prouder is if we went further. Well done to Eddie and all the lads.. January really is the time to try and improve the squad (albeit a tough task mid-season) and push on in the cups/league.
-
Yeah I remember, we were struggling to break them down a wee bit then we switched it up for Isak to score the winner late on. His first game back from injury if I recall?
-
Weirdest thing is, I’ve seen him hit some absolute belters on his right during warm-ups.
-
Maybe we’ll see the 4-4-1-1 again like we did last season against Fulham. Really think he’d fly in that setup.
-
They’ve been getting better since he’s been starting IMO. The lads seem to be more confident passing to him tonight too. I’d say it’s his place to lose atm, can see Sean coming back in for these next few games just to avoid burnout though.
-
There’s been a few chances missed that you’d normally have your house on him to score too. Hopefully with everyone coming back we can give him a bit of a rest and he’ll be back to his best.
-
I was watching on a very small screen so I didn’t have the best view of the game. Based on others though, he definitely isn’t 100% and maybe a little scared of getting injured again.
-
Come on lads, he wasn’t great but we all would have been saying different of that Bruno chance went in.
