    Papiss Cissé

He was playing for Macclesfield so it makes sense. It's a great city to live in too. Loads going on there, great food etc.
  2. Are there gonna be many people who want to take a gamble though? It may be the club just being cautious in the first place in the case that they do want to move him on.
  3. Newcastle Specific - Player of the Season: Gordon. 11/10 this year. Young player of the season (21 or lower): Obafemi Martins Season to forget: Tonali, bless him. Most Improved: Gordon Unsung Hero: Murphy Signing of the Season: Livramento Goal of the season: Schar - PSG Moment of the season: The whole day/night of the PSG game. Will remember that night for the rest of my life. And the next one. Thank you @Stev for sorting the ticket. Low point of the season: Liverpool at home. Longest drive home of my life. Manager rating (Out of 10): 8.5 with a 9 when the best outcome manifests. Amazing where we are where we are with the injuries we’ve had really. A few questionable decisions, but overall a great effort and season all around. Thank you Eddie and all of the team for some great memories. Premier League Specific - Player of the Season: Watkins, such a great player to watch and his numbers are amazing. Young player of the season (21 or lower): Yakubu Manager of the Season: Emery Season to forget: Antony/Rashford
  4. 2005 my old man took me to work with him and I was reading the Sun planning my dream team. Turned to the next page and seen a competition to meet Shearer and have a days training in Newcastle. About a week or two later I had a phone call saying I won.. was over the moon as a 14 year old kid. Few Toon youth players turned up which included Krul. I’m a terrible footballer, but turned it on to fuck that day and scored an absolute pinger of a free kick against him to the applause of Shearer and a few others? my old man has still got it on VHS somewhere!
  5. Has everybody forgot about this? I actually had to use the search thread to find it?
  6. I’m not sure he’d go there, he said in the Amazon doc he likes being as far away from Coventry as pretty much possible.. I can’t blame the guy? Leicester is a bit too close to home. Not sure he’d care but the Cov fans would hate him if he went there too.
  7. Where did you hear this?

    Alexander Isak

If it wasn’t for injuries/fatigue, I really think we really would have been there this season. To be where we are now after all that going on is still a great achievement.

    Nick Pope

    You forgot Murph.
  10. His only qualm here is not being first choice I think. Where is he gonna go that he’ll be first choice? Nowhere that’s challenging for Europe I can think of in the Prem. All teams know they need to manage his minutes too. I’m biased as he’s one of my favourite players for us, but really hope he stays. I trust whatever the club has to do.
  11. Said it time and time again myself. Yes he’s very injury prone, due to this, he’ll probably always have to rotate with another striker whatever club he goes to. We could possibly have Minteh coming back who can slot in there. Or if he isn’t, I’d rather take a punt on someone young and cheap as a back-up to him and Isak. Played really well today and I enjoyed seeing him and Isak play together for once.
  12. Yes, I’d love a link for the camel racing in my DM’s.. that is allowed isn’t it?
  13. Pardew would be in his element at his selection for 70th min subs.

    Fabian Schär

Sure it was Burn who said that.. might be wrong.
  15. I really think if he wasn’t forced to play so early returning from injury and/or because Isak was injured, we would of seen a lot more of him this season.
  16. I think we’d be mental to get rid of Wilson. As long as he’s willing to play a bit of a lesser role, he knows he has to manage his minutes wherever he goes anyway. We’re not gonna get a 2nd/3rd striker as good as him on the cheap.
  17. Could be Ashworth trying to play the cunt rather than his agent. The club have put that clause in very strategically.
  18. Shocked he picked Rooney over Henry.
  19. It all depends on if he wants to go. Bear in mind he will be at the Copa América from the 21st, so it will complicate things a little if he was to move.
  20. I’ve not looked at the Forest (bad) decisions.. but the line over Win-Bissaka’s foot SURELY warrants some sort of appeal from Coventry. If it was us I’m sure there would be plenty ready to hand-deliver it to the FA themselves?
  21. I wish this was photoshopped? this needs an appeal ASAP.
  22. I was born in Cov and go a lot of games aswell as the Toon. Watching it in Barcelona with a few of the lads.. SIckner.
  23. A fit Wilson is up there with the best. I hope he stays and we Bring Minteh back for options.

    St James' Park

Doesn't stop people watching most of the game through a screen.
