He was playing for Macclesfield so it makes sense. It's a great city to live in too. Loads going on there, great food etc.

Are there gonna be many people who want to take a gamble though? It may be the club just being cautious in the first place in the case that they do want to move him on.

2005 my old man took me to work with him and I was reading the Sun planning my dream team. Turned to the next page and seen a competition to meet Shearer and have a days training in Newcastle. About a week or two later I had a phone call saying I won.. was over the moon as a 14 year old kid. Few Toon youth players turned up which included Krul. If it wasn’t for injuries/fatigue, I really think we really would have been there this season. To be where we are now after all that going on is still a great achievement.
