  1. We've got that in Remy...who needs new signings then Yes, but ideally i would like to play Remy as a CF. And get another player for the left forward role and one as backup for Remy and Cissé. A young and hungry one.. So you'd like a new winger (not Ba), Remy CF and Cisse on the bench?

  3. Only have him back if he's prepared to play on the left wing again and play in a team. No good him coming in and demanding to play striker again and shafting Cisse in the process. His demands was the start of our downfall imo. We played our best football with Ba left Cisse top HBA right, we shouldn't have allowed him to dictate things his own way the following season when all he wanted was a bigger move elsewhere.
  4. More in the mould of Wilshere in terms of playing style. Certainly looks ready for the step up to PL but it's just who is willing to pay the excessive amount of money to gamble on him, nice to dream it would be us like.

    Arsene Wenger

I can't stand the Wenger out campaigns like, Arsenal fans on the whole are massive bellends! Wanking off Ramsey last night whilst writing his whole ability and career off earlier in the year. If Wenger does turn it around and manage to win some silverware, they will soon come crawling back again. Only thing i understand with them is their lack of spending but their vendettas against their own players and manager are nothing short of a disgrace!
  6. None of them? Liverpool last night was a prime example how playing a strong 11 can prove your undoing. Fair enough they got through in the end but it was hardly perfect preparation for their game against Man Utd with 120 minutes of football and 3 injuries to first team players. They should have been able to see off County with a far weaker squad than they fielded. Personally i'd like to see a fair few of the squad players come in like Vuckic/Sammy/Bigi. It's up to them to try and force their way into contention and these type of games should be the springboard for them, if they fuck up again, it's time to start questioning who actually isn't good enough (no Pardew jokes).
  7. What if it gets beat? They come out fighting against Fulham and put on a performance for the fans getting 3 points in the bag. These 3 points, like the 3 points we got against Wham? An inch away TT, an inch away! We all saw the 3 points flash before our eyes in disbelief to how the cross never nestled in the back of the net then gouffran managed to turn it over the bar. We'll build from that performance and take the 3 on Saturday.
  8. Hodgson described it as 'by far the best game of the PL season so far' going on to add that there was some 'outstanding individual performances'.

  10. Or he's refusing to play and we don't want to actually say he's refusing to play because it makes our position look weaker? Who knows what's happening, just throwing a possible alternative out there. I don't doubt we'll be happy to sell him for top money either, don't believe we'll sell him otherwise though and I think our past dealings back that up. I don't believe he's refusing to play. I've good word he did, not entirely sure what happened, but he was happy to carry on playing but him and Pards exchanged words in the City dressing room which turned into a heated row, which ended up with Cabaye insisting to be taken off the team sheet. Since then they have both talked about the situation and both have agreed for the time being it's best not to play till issue is resolved but Cabaye won't push for a move to Arsenal as ideally wants to go back to France. That’s not say he won’t sign if they stumped up the cash but can’t see him submitting any transfer requests as he would still happily play here if the deal never happened. Source? Thought not. Mentioned it before, my brother's girlfriend is an Argie and close family friend to them. She was telling me on Sunday about the Cabaye thing, then said on the way up to Glasgow to see Eminem, Colo was ‘bitching’ about Pardew not getting a grip on things going on at the club. It's her 21st dinner party this coming weekend, so hopefully i'll have the balls to ask some questions myself, if i bottle it, you'll have to make do with a couple of pictures unfortunately.
  11. Who say's he didn't travel? I've been told that it was Jonas who stepped last minute to play and the team sheet was changed even though he hadn't been in full training in run up to the match but he would step in to play.

  13. Chelsea beat us in that asian cup or whatever shite it was when JJ tried that ridiculous chip down the middle.
  14. Why does it make a difference? they are in because we don't have much talent and they are clearly better than most. Its not like the whole squad are getting in based on rep is it? Heck Sturridge has to score score 12 in 16 games for Liverpool to get in ffs. Its easy to say this and ignore completely the amount of players are getting in due to good performances. I'll ask you the same question i asked earlier.... who do we have playing week in week out who is better than Milner and Sterling? I'd say someone like Nathan Redmond deserves a call up over Sterling. Has been looking decent for Norwich and not in the press for assaulting women and at least is playing games. Sterling has only created headlines for the wrong reasons so far yet still gets picked, just think it's poor myself, should be players in the squad who deserve it and have earned their opportunity.
  15. Barkley, Townsend and Sturridge have started the season well, fair play to them for getting the nod, rather we picked players in form than just based on their name and reputation.
  16. Not sure which is worse treatment, Mata/Kagawa?
  17. I want to see the likes of Vuckic and Sammy play, good opportunity for them in these types of games. Certainly wouldn’t risk of full strength team in case of injuries/suspensions when we have a bigger game on Saturday.
  18. Wanting Morecambe to win to just increase the chances of Pardew being sacked is nothing short of disgusting support like. Horrid that. I'm not even a huge admirer of the carling league cup but i'd still take a run in it, i just don't have the same sickly disappointing feeling to when we get knocked out of FA cup. Sky once again just trying to prey on us for an upset, i hope we just go through comfortably and don’t provide them with any fireworks seeing us go out.

    Alan Pardew

Been out celebrating our clean sheet since Saturday. Sorry for lack of posting. Feel free to fire away now I’m back though. no I won't do that. Worried yet though? Wouldn’t say I’m more worried. I’ll be more worried if the transfer window shuts and we haven’t got a new striker in. Was certainly unhappy at half time on Saturday the way the game was going, but fair play to them I thought second half they were much better but just like pre-season thought our passing was good but we just lacked creativity in final third. Think Remy in the side will be a big boost, especially to Cisse who never looked comfortable alongside Shola all game. I like Anita and Sissoko in the middle. Ben Arfa and Marv were fairly ineffective and I was disappointed slightly in both of them. Thought Colo/MYM partnership looked comfortable again and really like the look of it. Debuchy/Santon both had solid games but thought they could have both offered us a bit more going forward. In general I thought it was two points dropped but still think we have hope of a decent campaign depending on the impact of Remy and if we sign a striker.

If they can keep Whittingham fit and he can continue to swing them set pieces into dangerous areas, they could nick it by a couple of points. Next......
