f***ing hell man. Saying judge us against West Ham Saturday evening, not Man City away? What's the fucking hell man for? I would say that's a sensible thing to do? No? just me?

No shit. You not think we all are slightly worried? You can be slightly worried without throwing negative comments every time Pardew speaks, looking at every line word by word, for one sentence he might have slipped up on. Soon as that is found, the rest of his interview is irrelevant even if he’s right because he is wrong about that one sentence so he gets crucified. Every time without fail.

Can people not just look forward to West Ham and get behind them for a result, it's 2 days away yet we are still looking back at Monday ripping our side to shreds, negative 4 GD, bottom of the league, forget it, its over and done with, move on to the next game to see how we bounce back against more appropriate opposition levels.

You'd be happy with the same manager and squad plus 1 that almost for relegated last season? You did see the City game right? How would that be in any way acceptable? Not going back into the problems of last season. I wrote the city game off soon as the fixtures came out (my comment was also made straight after we signed Remy btw). West Ham/Fulham is where we truly will see how our side has overcame last seasons problems, that’s where the true test lies, not Man City away. Much rather people came on here and decided to rip certain personnel to shreds after seeing the performance against West Ham, then i'd be more inclined to judge how the season is looking to pan out.

Course he's not happy, don't see why kicking off in the press about lack of signings would please people on here. Wouldn't do anyone any good. He's right, all we can do is just get on with it and go as it is. That simple. I said after we signed Remy, i'd be happy if the window closed now and kept all of our players, now Cabaye is leaving, that does leave a big hole in our side, but that is out of Pardew's hands.
  6. There's more chance that he'll actually challenge Carroll in the air that Taylor so that's a bonus. Ah, yes. Williamson who got beaten in the air by N'Zogbia and Moses. At least he was there challenging rather than running backwards trying to save the ball with his hands. Actually come to think of it, Taylor backs off as much as, if not more than, Simpson did. Chest outwards, stretch ya arms and bend one knee is up with the worst defending in the premier league i must add.
  7. Correct and Taylor is not nearly as good as MYM. Poor Average Quality in that order.
  8. Becchio was such a weird shit signing Definitely
  9. How? He said Remy was close, still looking at Bent, talks been had and Gomis deal was complicated.
  10. Toronado/Kazeem should be a great race, if Toronado gets the trip, its wins imo, finishes its races very well and nothing to say he won't but personally think your better off sticking with the horse that is tried and tested at around today’s trip which is Al Kazeem.
  11. Would love to see this but Marv will be out for Tiote. Sissoko likely pushed forward.
  12. Time for a bit of bias from myself, but Barkley was the best player on the pitch on Saturday. More impressive than Baines, Fellaini, Pienaar, Mirallas, or any Norwich player. Superb composure on the ball, played like a seasoned pro and a f***ing class goal. Yeah, a few errors but they came through a drive and ambition to make things happen, and something he'll - at this rate - pick up very fast. Delighted he looks like he's finally getting a consistent chance. Something he didn't get under Moyes. Wasn't he only playing becasue Gibsion was injured? Or is he now first choice pick?

    Hatem Ben Arfa

This man is why we will win on Saturday, it's that simple, he's a thing of beauty, he was gliding past top City players like they weren't even there on Monday, he's got Joey O'brien on Saturday. Bring it on.
  14. Wouldn't say people are downgrading anything. People are picking MYM over Taylor is simply because Taylor isn't a massive upgrade even on his aerial ability, he is better in that department but not stand out. MYM overall game is a class above Taylor's and is the reason people want to see him in. MYM's pace can compliment Colo better than what Taylor's heading can. MYM and Colo need a run of games to build an understanding partnership which can be used to good effect.

What a shite blog that was.
  16. With you on the heading. MYM and Colo can be a good partnership given the time and patience to build up their understanding of one another. They might not be effective aerially but i don't deem this a major issue as it's not like Taylor is dominant force in this area. Don’t see the need to list strikers who would cause problems, they would give most defenders a tough game for this but our two defenders would have the better of them in other attributes of the game.
  17. I got told that he didn't want to go down route of transfer request as he would stay if offers weren't made but he would prefer a move away preferably back to France and Monaco if they came calling, but he wouldn’t be kicking up a fuss to do so. Obviously when situation pans on things could change.
  18. Colo imo looked a bit shaky all game and was poor in general. MYM however once he went to CB looked a lot more assured and showed a fair bit of class.
  19. You can't still be pro Taylor over MYM, howay man.
  20. Hope not, at least Pardew seems to rate Dummett anyway. Been mentioned how long Santon is actually out for?
  21. Pardew leaving him out, if Pardew felt Cabaye's mind wasn't on the game and withdrew him becasue of it, that's certainly better than Cabaye refusing to play.
  22. You know deep down that it will be Williamson at centre-half and Yanga-Mbiwa at left back don't you? I'm extremely worried that this is the case TBH. That didn't even enter my mind!! Holy shit, i take what i just said back...please no. I forgive you Steven.
