  1. Thanks. For. That. No problem. I'm guessing that is just your opinion? What else would it be? Foresight?! Just the way it was so blunt as if you knew it was going to be taking place, wasn't sure if you heard something or just opinion.
  2. So why was Arsenal spoke in that statement then Because we're talking about the match in two weeks, you idiot. AND WHAT DID I f***ing SAY. People wanted Arsenal to win LAST NIGHT so that it made the tie (overall) including the match in 2 weeks more interesting. I think Neesy has just went 1-0 up right there
  3. Thanks. For. That. No problem. I'm guessing that is just your opinion?
  4. I couldn't understand what Mascherano wasn't brought on. Barca clearly need a physical prsence in midfield because fabregas seemed to be getting more and more space as the game went on and Wilshere was just running through the midfield with ease as if xavi and iniesta weren't even there. Keita is awful.
  5. I agree, i thought Walcott looked dangerous, end product let him down a couple of times, but was brilliant for Van Persies effort when Fabregas flicked it over for him.
  6. thought he looked a very good prospec t in his time here but not ready for premier league football and not sure he'd make the step up quickly. drenthe could be worth a look. seems to have turned it round a bit in my limited viewings of hercules. 1. Royston Drenthe 2. Tayo Taiwo 3. Van Aanholt They would be my 3 choices however although i do think Drenthe is a class act, he does play more as a left winger which would be hard to persuade him to come here and play LB. On a brighter note... all these would be back up because Jose is a Geordie and is staying
  7. Mm well people who have watched him mishit cross after cross for 2 and a half seasons maybe... just because he got an assist yesterday, it doesn't suddenly make him become the worlds best crosser now.. does it? 2 assists actually
  8. One of the best left sided partnerships in the premier league as i keep saying. Enrique against Blackburn, Jonas aginst Birmingham, teams can't handle them.
  9. Schmeichel Cafu Nesta Maldini Carlos Xavi Zidane Messi Ronaldinho Ronaldo Shearer
  10. This. Would just lead to easier routes to the latter rounds for the bigger teams. Wouldn't mind replays being banished to the history books, they are rather tedious. I wouldn't say so, if you get drawn away to a big club your chances reduce very quickly, or for especially lower league teams, getting a point and going back to old trafford fr instance can be massive financially for the club. Rather they just kept it how it is, best cup in the world!
  11. I think it's true, on FM i was skint and colo, jonas and barton were out of contract and i couldn't afford there wages so they fucked off however Enrique took a 25 grand pay cut, made me love him even more!! Jose is a geordie
  12. Yeah i defintely don't think you can blame Barton or Enrique. End of the day they it's there footballing careers they are looking after which is priority after all. It's common sense they can't afford another year in the championship, so let's get past that 40 mark as quick as possible, reassure them that money will be being spent in the summer and get them contracts tied up!

    Season Tickets

Negativity, or reality? In this case, negativity. That True Faith article gets worse with every read. Just out of interest, what is it from that article that you disagree with? The points made, or the tone? I do agree with what they say about Ashley's plan about getting season ticket money in early but at the same i'd be renewing regardless of what division we are in or what players we brought, so i see it as a fair deal in respect of discounts and price freeze although the singing section being removed is a disgrace. The article is full of itself though thinking they can just meet up with the board to discuss which players they are planning to sell or buy. I doubt any other club in the country does this sort of approach. Also the quote of 'We would have won at Blackburn had we had a half decent striker up top'! Any team in the world can play a very attacking approach to the game and batter a side without having that slice of luck in front of goal, to try and have a sly dig at Ashley/Pardew for not replacing Carroll is just pathetic.
  14. Care to summarise for me? It's just a big ramble of if's and but's... The way i see it, all the teams mentioned above are in exactly the same boat, all fighting for survival, just because Everton or Birmingham or Villa have done well in previous seasons does not make them immune from relegation. We scored 4 against arsenal and just because we never had that bit of luck against Blackburn and never scored, people panic. Strange. It's all if tiote gets booked, if they won't pick up a point, but we have team spirit but we don't have class and all that malarky. We are 10th in the league a bit of positivity wouldn't go a miss as far as i'm concerned, don't look at other teams and think well they might could or won't go down, look at ourselves and go from there, so far so good, i'd rather be us than than the 10 teams below us.
  15. Can't believe i've just read every word of that post!
  16. Can't win with some Newcastle fans like, always go back to Pardew or Ashley's fault! Accept the point, it's a good result, even if we did batter them we weren't expecting that to happen, be positive!!!
  17. I'm happy with a point away, win your home games, pick up a few points away and your sorted. Well done lads!
  18. I can't see what all that ranting over Perch was all about, i'm not even watching the game and it's common sense to know that Simpson must have been injured, you don't just randomly take a right back off who is in good form when you currently have a clean sheet on the board, dear me! I agree about Ranger though could have been a bit earlier but at least he is on now!
  19. More exciting refreshing this page than it is actually going down for away days, heart is pounding!
  20. I thought he was looking lively? Sure someone said that earlier... Thought it must have been a mistake
  21. i read that as if Blackburn had scored already there, phew! Close call!
