  1. I think we’ll find out in the next few months. There are some things that PIF inevitably need a lot of time on (e.g. the stadium) but increasing sponsor investment from people under their control is something they can do almost immediately
  2. Would have been offside with VAR
  3. Should have signed for Newcastle all those years ago

    St James' Park

It was more just being triggered by someone that filled me with repulsion

    St James' Park

I shouldn’t be prejudicial but that north London / Essex twang coupled with spouting platitudes about bottomless brunches triggers me
  6. gbandit

    St James' Park

    That is absolutely vile
  7. I imagine the top league of Georgian football isn’t an amazing standard but being 17 and scoring three goals in the top flight is a decent sign as he must be up against a lot of bruisers
  8. Those all make sense, we’d be stupid not to offer them new contracts for slightly different reasons
  9. He said #yanksbutnothanks to you boys did he?
  10. It certainly is a model of capitalism. Players receive hundreds of thousands of pounds per week, fair enough, they’re the ones who deserve it. Clubs are raising ticket prices to levels most fans can’t sustain. There are betting sponsors everywhere, every potential source of income is sought out and drained to the limit. You have clubs like Chelsea selling teams to themselves and properties to themselves to get round rules. Everything is being bled dry. Sure, there are some rules that inhibit completely unfettered spending but the whole business of football is hyper-capitalism where money dictates absolutely everything
  11. For me, it’s football in general but also the fact that there’s absolutely zero indications about where we’re going as a club at the moment from the most senior level. There’s talk but no action to back it up and there’s an enormous amount of uncertainty brewing on several matters. Fundamentally though, I hate football off-the-pitch in a way I’ve never felt before. I still enjoy watching football a huge amount but it is affected by how fucked up it is in terms of corruption and a model of capitalism that is damaging to fans and society as a whole
  12. Aye, this website man. It’s abysmal. I get an email to say I can enter the ballot and when I click on it I’m in the general resale queue for Brighton, absurd
  13. I would fucking hope so, he’s class
  14. Although it’s an absurd challenge it’s unlikely to ever cause serious damage, just some horrible studs all over your body
  15. He’s reminding me more of De Niro in King of Comedy or Phoenix in Joker these days
  16. A Newcastle classic would be a much better performance with a loss in the last five mins against Man City and then a 3-0 loss against Everton with Keane scoring a blastie, Burn heading into his own net and DCL slamming one in off his cock
  17. Haaland’s head hadn’t gone at all, he’s an excellent troll, that’s all
  18. 👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻 @80 and @timeEd32
  19. Doesn’t being a firefighter have one of the highest incidences of early mortality out of all professions? Due to the inhaling of dangerous compounds? @Groundhog63 are you a firefighter? Couldn’t remember. What’s the take on this within the profession?
  20. Iconic moment. I absolutely love the lad, not his footballing style as I find it boring as fuck but I love how odd he is
  21. I wondered that, is there a precedence if the blame can be partly on the club for poor drainage etc?
