  1. Cannot fucking wait until the new season. This summer's been/will continue to be packed with sport but the only things I really got into were the French Open/Wimbledon. Olympics will be quality for a few events but man, need some football back in my life

I didn't mean that his attitude would let him down, there are just a lot of players who don't get to the level they should. It's pretty obvious, in my opinion, that he's the most talented of the group. I really hope he has a great season

I reckon Sammy has the most potential but could easily not realise it. Want to see more of Abeid because I think he looks solid in most aspects of his game. Ferguson has definitely done the best so far but if he can't stay clear of injuries he doesn't have a chance
  4. What I like about Sammy is, he does the unexpected. He's definitely got a lot of creativity up his sleeve and if he can get confidence, a lot of run outs and get a few performances in, I really think this could be a big breakthrough season for him.

Couple more signings like Collins and Warnock and we might as well give up the NETD title for this coming season. Marty's lit the touchpaper.
  6. Had been refreshing a couple of times per hour for the last like 8 hours. Went on Toontastic, RTG and Nufc-Forum... a harrowing experience
  7. Aye, he just takes complete control over a game. So few players can boss it like he does
  8. Doesn't count as a shot on goal but might as well be? What the fuck is that
  9. Delighted he's no longer in the PL, a mixture of one of the ugliest footballers with one of the ugliest styles of play.
  10. I understand that they'd be looking to make as much money as possible and not want to take a pay cut but I honestly believe that were I in their shoes and this offer was on the table, I'd go to Spurs. It's obviously impossible to tell but from my perspective, I absolutely love playing sport and am competitive, the idea of sitting on a bench just seems more mad to me than losing out on a lot of money. Can't wait for footballer's salaries to start dipping
  11. Same here - if they were being honest, nobody would do this in their own professional lives, yet seem to expect footballers to take paycuts. I think the context is slightly different. If a normal person takes a pay cut, it will have a massive impact on how they live their lives. If a footballer goes from earning 9 mill to 6 mill, I think they can probably take the hit and many would if it meant first team football/living in London over Manchester, etc...

  13. Then Allen should be 60m
  14. He'd still be on 6 mill and would be a guaranteed starter in a very good team. Anyway, it's good news for us if this doesn't go through. I enjoyed Ade when he was on the BBC for the coverage of the world cup but he seems like an absolute cock with some of his antics on the pitch

Aye, Liverpool and West Ham are my two most disliked clubs in the PL. A lot of scum in there

Until they're back in the championship when we'll pick them up on a free
  17. It's far too much of a step up for him, it's going to be a disaster for both him and that w*** club. Fantastic watching! Michael Jackson Gif at the ready as soon as the season gets underway. If they start badly, they're going to be in the shit
  18. The thing is, while it's funny, it's a fucking pisstake. I'm sure there are a lot of people out there looking for work and a complete idiot like him who obviously doesn't give a shit, is churning out rubbish every day
  19. While I agree that Carroll is probably between 10-12m bracket (if you look at what he should be, not the English-born 50% extra pricetag) he is definitely a much better player than Danny Graham. From what I saw of Graham last season, and I watched quite a few of their games, he fluffed chance after chance. In most games where I saw Carroll play, he had a lot of shots blocked on the line and some good saves denying him. Carroll, if he worked on his right foot and got a hell of a lot of coaching to help his movement in the box, would be a very, very good player. Right now, he's just a good player
