I'm sitting here stunned by this. Is this statement real ? I can't believe a manager would tell the press that his English players have no chance of playing international football. Should be shot at dawn if he's truly said that. Remember when he referred to Willo as 'the other guy'? Top man-management skills as some would believe.

The Ba-BA partnership.
-
Which Uruguayan?
-
Yesterday's match didn't really matter as they failed to qualify for the CL and would need to sell (which they haven't done so far) and the EL offers a pittance in comparison to the CL.
-
I can just imagine Raylor as 4th-choice CB as there's no obvious back-up outside the youth players.
-
Saylor's about the only name by elimination as I doubt Raylor or Willo are mad enough to think of England, and Sammy has opted for Nigeria already. Fits in with Captain Fistpump's profile too.

Streete has been told he can leave the club Where's that from? Loan or sale?

3-5-2: De Gea Jones Evans Rojo Rafael Fletcher Herrera Di Maria Mata RvP Rooney Lindegaard Smalling Shaw Valencia Young Carrick Januzaj Welbeck If LvG were to go by his principle of having as many players in their best positions, 4-4-2 diamond might not be a bad option as mentioned by Mole: De Gea Rafael Jones Evans Shaw *Smalling, Rojo Herrera* *Carrick Fletcher Di Maria Mata* *Januzaj RvP Rooney

Loaning/selling MYM would also mean that Anita and Raylor are the backup RBs to Janmaat, considering Santon is out for some time.
-
Streete and Satka should go on loan if given the opportunity. If we were to depend on our academy lads for the 4th CB spot, I rather it be Curtis Good who has at least experienced competitive matches over the past few seasons.

Group E should be interesting.
-
Group A: Atletico Madrid, Juventus, Olympiacos, Malmo FF. Group B: Real Madrid, FC Basel, Liverpool, Ludogorets Razgrad. Group C: SL Benfica, Zenit, Bayer Leverkusen, AS Monaco. Group D: Arsenal, Borussia Dortmund, Galatasaray, Anderlecht. Group E: Bayern Munich, Manchester City, CSKA Moscow, AS Roma. Group F: Barcelona, PSG, Ajax, APOEL. Group G: Chelsea, Schalke 04, Sporting CP, NK Maribor. Group H: FC Porto, Shakhtar Donetsk, Athletic Club, BATE Borisov.

Easy ride for Chelsea again.

From Pardew to Bielsa. Mapou wouldn't know what hit him.

Someone post the Niall Quinn quotes again.

First NUFC player since Carroll to get an England call-up?
-
He's not fit now and he's got 2 in 2. Man is sick. I remember the frustration last season when he got those injuries every time I transferred him in.
-
Aguero, if fit, is a no-brainer. If.

If a player drops in price one week he can't go up the same week. The algorithm used by the site protects the player from further fluctuation. That's some bullshit. How the f*** do you know that btw? Well im not 100% certain I am jumping to a few conclusions. Firstly hes marked as protected on totalFPL as he should of gone up .2 already (doubled in ownership in 24 hours) and there is no other explanation given by either totalFPL or FISO on why he has not gone up. Its widely regarded the algorithm was rolled back to the one used 2-3 years ago and is being used up until the first international break to allow for people to remain competitive long enough before player price sky rockets. And thus is why I've reached the above conclusion. He's risen back to 8m fwiw. Those sites are inaccurate atm due to the downtime in FPL stats feed.

Did he say it? Yup. Says Welbeck offers nee tackle to the team.
-
Full name: Daniel Nii Tackie Mensah "Danny" Welbeck Pardew has officially ended interest in the player.
-
I'm curious too. LvG mentioned he adopted the 3-5-2 as he will be able to fit more players into the system. But with the few CBs and the fact that they are going on a spending spree anyway, why not play his familiar 4-3-3 and buy players to suit that system?

Could we have an 'average points per gameweek' column if it's not too much of a hassle?
