He can sign a pre-contract agreement with a non-French club from January on while OM can only do so 12 weeks from the end of the contract.
We'll just have to step in earlier if that's the case. Doubt his entourage are the type to honour any agreement with OM anyway.
I'm hoping that when Jonas realises his position is also threatened by Remy (and any possible winger signing), he will buck up his ideas more.
He seems to perform better when he knows he has competition.
It's so obvious that Liverpool themselves haven't exactly been classy by sneaking in an ambiguous clause. It will be interesting to see the tricks Suarez will do to get his move. He's virtually an indispensable in the Uruguay squad anyway so his place to Brazil is guaranteed no matter what happens. Reckon Liverpool will eventually be forced to sell him to a club outside the PL, maybe Real.
Rodgers has totally been brainwashed in the Liverpool wayTM. Has he by any chance opened those 3 envelopes yet?
That's the main worry I have. No matter what excuses, valid or otherwise, this has to be the bare minimum.
I'll dread it if we play like a team of strangers again.
Remy coming in might have given us room to negotiate more to our terms regarding Gomis. There is still a possibility, no matter how big/small that he has to fight a court case after the window closes. We should be on the safe side and maintain a priority for another striker be it Gomis or someone else.
Our coaching staff are pretty antagonistic too. It will be hard to reel them in in this aspect if your manager or his assistant are so frequently confrontational.
